We were there this evening and everything was great! Great customer service , and the food was delicious, fresh with huge portions for the price!We ate inside at a table, could tell they were renovating but that didn’t bother us too much. That said, we are excited to go back and see what they do with the place! New date night regular for us for sure!
I’m really fussy about my Chinese food. The place I usually go to is closed on Monday. I decided to try Yum Mee. To my surprise the food was really good. I ordered the dinner combo sweet and sour chicken with beef teriyaki, fried rice and wonton soup. Crab Rangoons and pork lo mein. The person I was with ordered the kung pao chicken dinner combo with fried rice, beef teriyaki and wonton soup. What I had was really good, sweet and sour chicken the chicken was moist and cooked perfectly fried rice was moist and flavorful, also the beef teriyaki was perfectly cooked. crab Rangoons were great, crunchy on the outside and so good. Pork lo mein was really good, and the wonton soup was great. Portions were large. The person I was with had the kung pao chicken with fried rice and beef teriyaki, she also said the food was really good. Price was reasonable. I got take out and by the time I got home to Topsham from Bath the food was still hot. I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because yes the furniture is a bit run down but I guess that’s because it’s been well used. People behind the counter were nice. Some of the reviews almost made me not order from them. But I took the chance and was glad I did. I am a hard critic and only write honest reviews whether good or bad.

Placed and paid for an order. Went to pick it up and it was wrong. They went on to tell me that the way I wanted it would cost much more. I showed them their web site and placed the order again and showed them the price . Then they wanted me to take my wrong order. I said no and wanted my money back . What a hassle in that venture also what's up with the convenience fee. That must be the fee for messing your order up. They went downhill since they moved.

We always order delivery and the driver is very nice and that is why I am giving 4 stars. The restaurant staff tend to make mistakes, as we often have missing items or wrong items. The people who take orders can also sometimes but very short and they're also inconsistent. For example, we get a Pupu platter for 2 and we usually ask to substitute the shrimp for more teriyaki and most of the time they say no problem there's and extra charge and that's fine. But other times the person will tell is there are no substitutions. Lastly, to rate the food is also difficult. If it's fresh it's great, but alot of the time its cold and greasy.

I have not eaten here since 2019. Not for any specific reason other than Mateo's has closed across the street. I had asked for extra extra heat. But when I got to the office it didn't even make me sweat.

They cannot seem to get it together. Order wasn't filled correctly. Again. Seems like every time it is screwed up. Gen Tso chicken was mosly breading. They have gone downhill, fast.Update: Probably not a good idea to reply that you can make it for me when you didn't make it for me to begin with. You can only make it after an honest review? Why couldn't you make it from the start? Also there was no notification of the sub. To go further, now that we are discussing the issue, the pork fried rice was light color and bland. Don't forget the "chicken" was mosly breading in the Gen Tso and the instructions were not followed. They are CLEARLY STATED on the receipt. Your food has gone from decent to bad to worse. And your eat in area is filthy. I wasnt going to go this deep but considering you thought it ok to reply with "we can make it for you if you come back" when it was a for a Door Dash order, I figured I'd give the WHOLE review. I feel violated by this meal.

Wonton soup was full of onions, pork ribbons, snow peas and wontons-better than my soup in Shanghai. Prices were very reasonable. Don’t know what that other guy was talking about.- I also recommend a teriyaki

Totally awful and inedible! We ordered Chicken & Cashews (1 part chicken, 1 part dry cashews and 8 parts celery in a broth), Mongolian Beef (beef was so tough it could not be cut with a knife and no sauce), steamed vegetables (flavorless) and Spring Rolls (we received egg rolls). Thank goodness they sent the Egg Rolls in error because the rest went in the trash. We are staying at Sebasco Resort who recommended them for a meal option when their restaurant is closed. I have informed Sebasco that they should not do that any longer!
