My favorite Chinese restaurant. Food is excellent and service too. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant on every level.
We haven't had any good Chinese food in Venice Florida and now we're in Bath ME for the summer. We didn't think we will find any good Chinese food in Bath and thought we had to drive to Portland ME to have a good Chinese meal then we came across Yum Mee Chinese restaurant on Centre Ave, Bath. What a surprise! Not only they serve Dim Sum, everything we ordered were great. We also ordered shrimp with peapods, fry rice, beef with vegetables, etc. We have been there twice already!
Food was excellent. The service was horrible. There were 4 in our party. The food was delivered one guest at a time with a good amount of time between each. The first of us had finished their meal before anyone else received their food. My wife ordered an appetizer along with her meal, asking for it to be served before her entree. They both were served together. In the future, if I want to eat their food, it will be take out only.

Yum Mee Chinese restaurant offers friendly and accommodating staff, along with delicious food served in large portions at a reasonable price. The restaurant features a variety of dishes, including dinner combos like sweet and sour chicken, beef teriyaki, and kung pao chicken, all cooked flavorfully and perfectly. The crab Rangoons and pork lo mein are also highly recommended. Customers appreciate the excellent service, especially the friendly waitress who suggested the Dry-Sautéed String Beans for vegetarians, which are crispy and savory. The restaurant also offers delivery, with very nice drivers. While there have been some issues with missing or wrong items and inconsistencies in substitutions, the food is often great when fresh. Sometimes, meals arrive cold and greasy, but overall, Yum Mee is a good choice for Chinese food. With some improvements, it could become a regular spot for many customers.
