Very kind young lady on the phone and at the counter. This place has been on our list to try. The food is absolutely delicious! Everything so tasty and fresh. The shrimp were plentiful and large. So flavorful. Generous portions. Top of our list!

Laan-Xang Cafe offers beyond good food with very fresh ingredients, well-seasoned and hearty portions. The very small indoor dining area is compensated by outdoor seating with a water view. Gluten-free options are plentiful. The restaurant overlooks Belfast Bay with a lovely deck. Vegetarian choices are abundant. Parking is available in front of the restaurant, next door, and on the street. Best to call ahead for takeout, which is a safer bet during winter months. This incredible place serves authentic Thai and Lao food and is getting towards being an icon Belfast spot.
