My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was perfect/incredible/amazing! The owners are sooo friendly. We also ate at the pub the evening we stayed and we got the naked New York pizza and it was delicious. We stayed in the Tavistock room and the bed was so comfortable! A cute little room, I loved it. Breakfast is included in the room cost. It was delightful. The inn/pub was about 12 minutes from Sunday River where we skied.
Jolly Drayman definitely NOT kid friendly. We went on a Tuesday at 5:00 when it was empty and the staff seemed really put out that we had young kids with us.
The host Dani, was beyond hospitable. I came down with a stomach bug during my stay and she was so motherly. She brought me tea, toast and ibuprofen. My room was cozy, quaint and clean. Just what you would expect in a northerner new England in .
Wonderful service, excellent food, good drinks, and a very homey environment! Always a pleasure to stay at the Jolly Drayman! As a Musician it is one of my favorite places to play and they treat their musicians with the utmost respect you can’t find many other places.
English style Pub. Good food, drink and atmosphere. Highly recommend
quiet atmosphere, simple menu
My son and I stayed for 2 nights during a recent ski competition. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening. The dinner menu had a breadth of options, the food was delicious, reasonably priced and service was easy going and friendly. Breakfast (included in the cost) was great full of conversation with the owners. My 14 year old son loved the experience we'll definitely stay upon return.
The owner was very overbearing. She called us at midnight trying to get our breakfast order for the following day. (We were not having breakfast there)
This place was perfect for our stay. The owners are lovely people and so hospitable. The rooms are cute and old fashion and the pub food was very good. Dani went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We'll stay here everytime we go up to the mountain for sure!
It’s a nice place to spend the night when skiing at Sunday River all day. Very quaint and the owners are super nice.

First Timer! Ordered the chicken pesto pizza & little piggy pizzas to-go. They were DELICIOUS! I love sundried tomatoes and they were a yummy addition to the pesto pizza. The little piggy usually comes with pulled pork but they had sold out instead the JD added shaved steak. YUMMMM!
Very nice. Great atmosphere. Service was fantastic. They make you feel at home. Nice room. Quiet. Good breakfast
You feel like a cared for family member from the minute you walk I the door. I can recommend this place enough?
Great food, Nice small pub type atmosphere. Worth checking out!
The owners went out of their way to make sure that we were able to check in early so we could make it to a wedding by 3pm. We stayed in the Dartmoor suite it was a beautiful room. Very clean. Breakfast was right on time and was delicious. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
