For those who were around when this was the Rooster, this is still your place. This was and still is my favorite restaurant in this area. A must visit for any skier or visitor. As a first time visitor to the new restaurant, I was hopeful. In reality, it was a lot better than I expected. Everything we had was really great, Honey Maple salmon was awesome, and just as great: the crispy potato wedges. Pretzel app, homemade dessert special were also superb. Food was good. Prices were fair. Excellent service. I would recommend for a budget, family friendly place. They even had a small arcade to entertain the kids while we waited for food! Great local place.Kid-friendliness: They had an arcade for the kids and it was very entertaining! My 3 year old one a stuff animal and was the highlight of our trip to Sunday River!

Tasty food, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. The vibe at Pete’s is perfect after a day of skiing - it feels like you are going to an old friend’s house. Highly recommend!And do not miss their dessert!
