best lobster roll I've ever had...highly recommend this place!
To start it was hotter in the restaurant than an oven. after ordering our food we waited for over 40 minutes for 2 burgers and some fries. in my opinion a place that only does burgers and fries the wait for food shouldn't be that long. In the parking lot there was buckets full of old frier oil and grease, it smelled horrible. The quality of the food was sub par and we found ourselves very disappointed by the hole experience.
All I can.say positively about the restaurant was the Downeast Hard Cidar was the best thing about the whole time. 1) the waiter was slower than anything I have ever seen, and we were his only table. 2) then he tells us the printer in the kitchen didn't print our order so it would be about 10 minutes for our order (turned out to be way longer than 10 minutes) 3) we got cold fries, and my husband didn't even get his whole order. Butcher Burger is a must-visit for burger enthusiasts, offering a great selection of imaginative burgers with unique flavors and types. The menu features mouthwatering options like the Bacon Bacon Burger with block sauce and bacon jam, which many customers have found phenomenal. The signature Butcher Burger with egg and pulled pork remains a favorite as well.
The restaurant is praised for its impeccable burgers, with customers describing the quality and taste as exceptional. They also offer a variety of local brews on tap, adding to the dining experience. While the prices may be on the higher side ($17-24), the food is considered "to die for," and the salt and vinegar fries are a must-try, often recommended over the sea salt fries.
The atmosphere is very quiet with great music from the 70s and 80s, contributing to a positive dining experience. The restaurant also caters to gluten-free customers, offering 100% gluten-free French fries and hamburger buns. The fries, in particular, are highly praised, with customers describing them as better than any other place.
