Old school classic diner. Breakfast and lunch, they do have alcohol for the brunchers. Don't miss the raisin bread. made fresh daily.

Avoid this place, the kitchen and toilet are dirty while the service is low-end. No respect for customers.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid This Place
It took over 2 hours just to get seated and receive a simple breakfast. The wait was completely unreasonable, especially for such basic food. What made it even worse was the rude and unprofessional behavior from both the host and the server.
To make matters worse, they made inappropriate and racist comments, which is completely unacceptable in any setting—especially in the hospitality industry. No one should be treated like that, and it’s clear that the staff here have no understanding of basic respect or customer service.
This place has no business calling itself a part of the service industry. I would strongly advise against going here—worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant.

Waited a while to be seated and then waited a long time to get our food. I get it, the place is busy and turns a lot of tables. But, eggs, bacon and pancakes shouldn't take that long. The food was good though.

Restaurantji Recommends
We always support small local restaurants when traveling. There are so many jewels scattered across the state of Maine BUT the Crossroads Diner is NOT one of them. We were seated promptly, drinks and lunch orders were placed, then we were totally ignored! Hot sandwiches and onion rings arrived cold. The tab was left at table and we waited over 15 minutes for someone to collect payment. The diner was not full; not sure why there was such a delay in receiving our food or collecting payment. We love the Bethel area but will NOT be returning to the Crossroads Diner.

My wife and I ate here for the first time this morning and loved the food and service. We even met the owner who takes a lot of pride in his staff and work. Highly recommend!

The service was horrible. Waitress did not get much of a tip
Our meal sat quite awhile, no menus given, got our own. She acted like she didn't want to be there.
Me and 8 otheres stopped by for breakfast and you do want to get the there early parking fills fast and if you have a big group. Otherwise or server was fantastic and the food was filling definitely going again
