Lobster roll was absolutely delicious. Bit pricey, but worth it. Love the atmosphere and the service was amazing. Would definitely come back here again.

A real gem. Full of people. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. I love a real pub , cold beer (nice variety), and a nice atmosphere
We will be back
Amazing food and nice staff! I loved how the bar is downstairs/basement as the atmosphere was cozy. My mother and I enjoyed the live music (incredible musicians), and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Tasty food, large portions, good price and friendly service.
My boyfriend & I visited The Suds Pub in August 2024 & it was the one of the coolest pubs we have been to. We were recommended this pub by the owners of the Holidae House which was right down the street (which I also recommend staying at!). We went for dinner after a long drive from Acadia National Park going back home to Vermont & we only ordered 2 small dishes but the atmosphere was chill & everyone seemed to know each other (customers & employees knew each other very well) which just gave it that chill family feeling. My boyfriend had the French Onion Soup & I had the Nachos with Cheese (which were huge!!!! My boyfriend had to help me finish them). The prices are extremely reasonable & the food was amazing! Make this your local pub if possible!
nachos were exactly what you’d expect from maine

Arrived (side door) for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was packed, but only had to wait for a few minutes to be seated. Service was good. Our waitress was servicing several tables, but was moving fast. The food was real tasty, and plenty of it. I substituted rice and was expecting a bland pile of the stuff, but it was a little spicy and very tasty. A little on the expensive side, $65 w/tip for a couple wines, a small salad (which was quite big), a sandwich and a meal. A lot of locals come here (a lot of guests knew each other). But a nice bar, casual seating and they did have live music this evening too. All-in-all, a fun place to visit. I would return here for another meal.

i was a little skeeched out at first cuz it's in the window-less basement, but once i noted fire exits it was fine.
varied menu, all 5 of us had something different and agreed it was all good.
will definitely go here next time i'm in town

This is a great place for a simple dinner. I had the buffalo burger, cooked just right. The beer menu is substantial. Great atmosphere overall, but I sat at the bar and I found that to be the best spot in the place.
