Lovely place. If I had to rate the coffee alone, it would be 5*. Best java I've had this whole trip, by a long shot. Sadly, the vegan options for food aren't that inspiring. Came in twice. First time the music was good indie classics. Second time it was awful royalty free soft jazz. Yuck. Bit weird considering the narratives addressed in the books in the store. Great collection of progressive thought pieces.
The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. We got a bagel with hummus and tomato, the vegan “granola bar” (which is more like a British flapjack than a granola bar. It’s like an oaty nutty fruity dense cake. **Not** overly sweet like a granola bar that’s held together with lots of syrup.) and we also got a mocha coffee with oatmilk (they also had soy and almond options)

We love this coffee shop. I’ve been coming here for years at least once a week but there is something off the past few weeks. Coffee just not the same. I used to enjoy every single sip but lately it’s just like every other coffee. Did you guys change something? Anyway I still give 4 stars hoping we can get the old taste back. Thank you
