Hidden gem is what this place is. The food was so flavorful, fresh, and the perfect level of spice. The restaurant itself is a beautiful space. The bread sampler is worth every penny and has every texture. Highly recommend this delicious restaurant!!

Of all the wonderful restaurants in Biddeford, this is our favorite! Friendly service, great and varied menu, cozy atmosphere, and we enjoy the Indian artwork on the tables and on the walls! Large portions mean we always get to take home enough for a second meal!

I have traveled extensively across the US on business and have yet to find better Indian food than at Jewel of India in Biddeford. It's worth the drive....friends I have sent here agree as well.

Excellent restaurant, warm vibe inside. Love the music they play. The food is great I encourage you to try something you wouldn’t usually get or ask about some things to find out if maybe you’d like it. Chicken korma is 10/10. Next time I’ll probably try the chicken curry. Favorite Indian spot right now.

Hands down, our favorite Indian restaurant in Southern Maine. The best dishes with fresh ingredients, and the nicest staff team. The warm staff members make you feel right at home.
Wow! Quelle belle expérience! Nous avons commandé un thali vegetarien en demandant si possible de nous faire une version vegan. Ils nous ont très bien accommodé et ont substitué le dessert par un samosa.
La nourriture était incroyablement délicieuse et pleine de saveurs subtiles, le chef est vraiment très talentueux.
La serveuse nous a offert un excellent service, très chaleureux, attentionné et courtois.
Nous reviendrons manger a ce restaurant à chaque prochaine visite de Old Orchard!

We are huge fans of Indian food. We’ve tried scores of Indian restaurants across the USA and in Europe. We never leave bad reviews but this one needs to be shared. There was nobody else in the restaurant at 12:45 on a Saturday. Red flag right there. The waitress was not rude - but cold as stone, very slow, and very inattentive. We ordered Chili chicken which was listed as hot and spicy. Then we chose the hottest spice level on top of that. When we finally got the meal, the dish was - well - horrible. The chicken was in huge chunks and was very tough and chewy. Almost like it was underdone or something. The sauce had zero heat - maybe a 1 out of ten. It was just very bland tomato sauce with a strange sweetness to it. Not good. The naan and soup were fine. The rice was okay. We certainly will NEVER go back to this restaurant.

Blown away. This was my first time trying Indian food, I got the chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend got the butter chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. Little pricy, but we will be back for sure!
