Layalina Middle Eastern Restaurant

Went here on a whim as it was recommended by a local store owner. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it! For an appetizer we ordered a samosa which was delightfully spicy and rich. For main course we ordered the lamb and beef plates topped with recommendations from the pleasant woman taking our orders. The baklava showcase was quite impressive and we ended up sampling those. So yummy!

This place was great! The food was very tasty. We both had the Lamb Shawarma plates. The portions were large and the food came out fast and hot.
The gentleman who took our order was very helpful and very courteous. He checked to make sure all was good. At the end of the meal he gave us a plate of desserts on the house. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place.

After a recent trip to Turkey, I was craving more Middle Eastern Food. I stopped at Layalina’s on my way from NH to Rockland. What a wonderful decision! The food is authentic. Made in-house or locally. I had the vegetarian bowl - falafel, dolma, fried cauliflower and eggplant with a delicious tzatziki dipping sauce. I bought a variety of baklava as a gift. The service was also outstanding. The owner was working, and was friendly and very helpful. Layalina’s is a fantastic addition to Biddeford’s robust, diverse food scene. I will return!!!

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Biddeford. The food is 10/10. The service is 10/10. We see the same gentleman working every time we visit and he is SO kind. Please visit when you have a chance!

Amazing middle Eastern food! Very pretty botanical decorations around the restaurant. The chicken tenders were huge so bring your appetite! The sauces with the falafel and kabobs were so delicious! A must try

The food is amazing and never fails to impress me. The lamb shawarma plate is my favorite but EVERYTHING is delicious. Every dish is full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous, and you will get your money's worth! Every time I come in I am treated like family and leave with a smile on my face. I recommend this place to everybody.

The baklava is outstanding! If anything get the baklava. We also had the lamb plate and the steak sandwich. The lamb was really good with garlic and tahini sauce.

The food is amazing. This is my husband and I’s new favorite restaurant. Food always tastes fresh and the flavor is incredible. Highly recommend the veggie samosa, lentil soup, and chicken schawarma plate. The service is fast and the owner is very friendly.

We ordered takeout, one of the items was a falafel wrap. It’s actually insulting how small, dry and carelessly made it was. I also ordered the falafel plate which they completely forgot.

The food looks low quality and oily. I will never order from here again.
