Went here on a whim as it was recommended by a local store owner. I was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed it! For an appetizer we ordered a samosa which was delightfully spicy and rich. For main course we ordered the lamb and beef plates topped with recommendations from the pleasant woman taking our orders. The baklava showcase was quite impressive and we ended up sampling those. So yummy!
This place was great! The food was very tasty. We both had the Lamb Shawarma plates. The portions were large and the food came out fast and hot.
The gentleman who took our order was very helpful and very courteous. He checked to make sure all was good. At the end of the meal he gave us a plate of desserts on the house. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place.

After a recent trip to Turkey, I was craving more Middle Eastern Food. I stopped at Layalina’s on my way from NH to Rockland. What a wonderful decision! The food is authentic. Made in-house or locally. I had the vegetarian bowl - falafel, dolma, fried cauliflower and eggplant with a delicious tzatziki dipping sauce. I bought a variety of baklava as a gift.
