A phenomenal experience and definitely worth a trip back. It only took one meal at The Blue Moon Café, to draw us back for as many days as we were in Booth Bay Harbor. Walking into the restaurant, we instantly felt a sense of warmth seeing all the old photos and warm wood paneling. Just looking out over the Harbor, slowing time down , enjoying the serenity of it all, (even though there’s a line of people) out the door. Fred and Stephanie are among the most courteous owners running a restaurant at full capacity and yet the food comes out piping hot, perfect size portions with the most sincere staff. This place is a gem, peaceful, friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend going to The Blue Moon Cafe next time you’re in scenic Booth Bay Harbor. Say hello to Fred and Stephanie for us!

Visited Blue Moon Cafe this morning. Seemed like a slow morning in the town but we got to Blue Moon and it was bustling. We’ve been on the coast for several days and I longed for a ‘normal’ cup of coffee, nothing complicated, just a yummy coffee. They delivered- now onto the food; their corned beef hash is homemade and CRISPY, the grilled homemade blueberry muffin was amazing- not too sweet. My husband got eggs, sausage and toast with breakfast potatoes, he was incredibly happy. The atmosphere is lovely (we sat on the deck) by the time we left the line was out the door, but don’t let that deter you; the service is fast. 5 star review here!

Phenomenal breakfast place right on the water. The corned beef hash benedict was DIVINE as was the sausage. My husband got a blueberry pancake which was excellent. Best breakfast we have had on the Boothbay peninsula!

Great little breakfast spot. Get there early and get in line so that you can grab a spot on the balcony. Got the breakfast burrito (eggs, pinto beans, salsa), which was perfect with a cup of coffee. Stephanie, working the register, was super friendly and made me feel welcome. Going again tomorrow morning!
