It’s such a nice place. Very clean rooms, housekeeping is fantastic and so nice it’s still available at this place daily. Views are gorgeous, staff so friendly and helpful. A bit of heaven on earth. Nice continental breakfast in the morning from 7 to 10am. Coffee and tea available all day till 10pm. Book it!
Great location right on the water!! It’s an old motel with lots of charm. We booked a corner larger room overlooking the bay which had a very nice wraparound balcony. Room was nice and large with all the standard amenities. The only downside was the very small bathroom and vanity. Had a tub shower with a small vanity outside. There was plenty of parking space and it offered a minimal continental breakfast. We stayed one night as we were traveling to another location. Their restaurant was permanently closed. We enjoyed dinner and beautiful sunset at a restaurant adjacent to the motel. This family owned motel is worth the visit with views of the bay!
Loved the place & our ADA room overlooking the Bay on the third floor. The best view of any of the rooms we had while staying at several different places when we explored the Maine Coastline. We were able to access the room with the elevator. Not a very big room & the tub was not a roll in shower, but had grab bars. The balcony was nice to sit outside on. Not very private, but we had fun getting to know our next door neighbors from N. Carolina, who were back for their third stay. Susana was very helpful at the desk. The breakfast seating area was nice because of all the room in the closed restaurant. Typical continental breakfast, but well stocked. We had a yummy lobster quesadilla for dinner at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf almost right next door.
This was our 4 year staying here. Everyone is so friendly. Glad that we found this little gem. See you again next year
These folks do a great job and the location cannot be topped !!
Great stay. Clean rooms. Well maintained property. Staff is excellent.
The staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The rooms are old but clean. My only complaint would be that the pillows are flat and hard. Oh,…and our upstairs neighbors were heavy footed night owls AND early risers! Ugh! We’ll try to get a 3 floor room next time. All in all a great stay
We loved staying here! The views were gorgeous and it was nice to have a small breakfast to start the day. We loved going to the lobster wharf next door for dinners/drinks. Also loved having our own balcony to look out over the water with some coffee and a book. And it was only a 15-20 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants by the harbor! Would definitely stay there again!
So far, everything is Amazing. The people are Great and the view of the Harbor is Amazing 😊
A must stay favorite for years to come. Beautiful views and comfy rooms. Great continental breakfast and great people

I can't exactly rate the rooms as I have not stayed here but we do own a slip here and have previously eaten at the restaurant. (Unfortunately this season the restaurant is only open to hotel customers for breakfast) The staff is extremely friendly they go out of their way with hospitality. The premises are extremely clean and I really appreciate Tim the owner accommodating us and being so knowledgeable!
We found this gem 4 years ago and have made it a yearly tradition to come back ever since! Each room has a balcony with a harbor or waterfront view. A lot of times on the weekend you're delighted to live music across the water at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf. Its a 15 min walk to downtown BBH across the pedestrian footbridge, and makes it easy to stay active. There is also a trolley stop in peak season (free) which also takes you around the area. The rooms are very spacious, and have everything you need. Complimentary blueberry muffins in the morning are great. We love Brown's Wharf Inn!!
We treated ourselves for the penultimate night of our NE road trip to a beautiful corner room with a view of the stunning marina and harbour. We very much enjoyed looking out at the boats coming and going. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and you can expect a warm welcome. The breakfast is superb and the cranberry muffins are delicious. There is an EV charger - speak to reception for access. The one slight downside was a very loud shower going on at 7am, which sounded a bit like when there is trapped air in a pipe. Otherwise it was simply perfect.
Great Location! Across the cove from the Lobster Wharf eatery, easy walk to the pedestrian bridge that gets you right into town. Even though the restaurant is closed they provide a good alternative for breakfast & coffee is really good too. Rooms are clean & a good size. Hospitality is Wonderful.
