Service was good and the food was tasty but ordered a lobster dish for $60 which was basically 4 bites of lobster with nothing else. Wife and I shared an app and each got a meal / drinks. $200 check and walked out of there still hungry. I don't mind paying extra for good food but when it's small portions and doesn't fill you up is my issue.

Had the clam chowder and lobster bites for a few bites after driving up and being a coastal MA girl all my life, have to say the chowder could have been better and the tempura batter on fried lobster bites was a bit heavy and oily. Going for dinner tomorrow night and hoping for a redemption dinner.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. I was surprised my husband suggested this place where he doesn’t like seafood but there was plenty on the menu for him to choose. I started with a blueberry salad and got the haddock with little neck clams for my main meal. The sauce was to die for! I would put that on everything. Hubby got the chicken and pasta in vodka sauce and cleaned his plate. The atmosphere was very romantic and they seated us near a window so we could look out at the harbor. My only complaint is I didn’t save enough room for dessert, the skillet cookie sounded amazing.

The place to dine when in Boothbay. Outstanding views, elegant venue, exquisite food, great staff. Lobster was fantastic. Sushi was a pleasant surprise and among the best I've had. Highly recommend.

We come to Boothbay Harbor multiple times each year, and we've been here a couple times in recent years. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is excellent. They serve unquestionably the best sushi in the area. Service could be a little more brisk, which could easily be improved by management's restricting wait staff cell phone use on the dining room floor. Nevertheless, we'll be back as often as we can.

Our server Kyle was phenomenal. He was what made it a full circle of a perfect visit. The food and the drinks were great but he provided such an elevated level of service. From answering questions to making recommendations. He really knows what he is doing. If you’re going for a bite to eat, request to have him. Honestly this is the best place in the area for this kind of meal, especially with this kind of atmosphere.
Parking: Parking lot was tight. Very limited amount of spaces available. Might be better off parking downtown and walking over.

Another incredible experience at Costal Prime! Last nights visit was my Birthday dinner and they did not disappoint! The view is unmatched, especially at sunset when we were there! Jamie was our server for the evening and he was more like a dinner MC, he went above and beyond to make our night special, make sure we were comfortable and make sure we enjoyed every minute! He was an expert at the food and drink menus and helped us pick the perfect meal! We started with that rainbow roll and Oysters they were both beautiful dishes and so delicious! For my entree I had the “lazy lobster” it was incredible, the presentation was gorgeous and it tasted even better than it looked, all the good of a lobster with none of the work! I also had the shareable garlic/shallot spinach, it was a simple dish but it was perfectly prepared and super delicious! If you find yourself there before the peak summer season ends ask for Jamie as your server, you won’t be disappointed!
