Coastal Prime was my choice for a birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint! Martinis were very well-made, wine choices plentiful, and appetizers and dinner were delicious. Service was excellent. My only complaint is that the music choice was incongruent with the atmosphere.

Great location and wonderful views. Unfortunately, the restaurant falls way short on service and food quality. We had reservations on a Saturday evening @ 5:45p and were seated immediately. It took 15 minutes to be acknowledged by our server. Entrees were barely warm, ribeye over cooked and cold coffee. We rarely saw our server, no follow up from a manager for food sent back. Prime Choice-you missed the mark on this one.

For the money the breakfast buffet was terrible dry burnt green eggs, hard chewy pancakes, and the manager was very rude when asked if they could make me some more eggs and pancakes she replied and said yes but we don’t advertise good pancakes then asked if we wanted new ones or not and walked off

Last night was our second time in as many weeks to experience this restaurant under its new management. The venue offers the best dining view of Boothbay Harbor and the menu and service equal the view. The menu has a wonderful variety of harbor classics and unique dishes, meticulously prepared and presented, from amuse-bouche to dessert. The service team is welcoming and well-trained. Truly wonderful.

Excellent experience here! The manager met us in the parking lot! (I’m called to ensure I was parking at the right place). Needless to say, service was wonderful. They were great with my toddler too. The food was awesome! Freshest lobster we had in Maine. Sashimi was great and had the best, clean sushi roll I’ve ever had (which is saying a lot). Lovely place on the water, quiet enough to have an easy conversation but not too quiet that my toddler stood out. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable food experience on our trip!

On vacation from AZ and absolutely loved this place. Prices are as expected as I’m sure many look at but the service and food was amazing. The added blankets for anyone sitting outside was a great plus too.

Service was good and the food was tasty but ordered a lobster dish for $60 which was basically 4 bites of lobster with nothing else. Wife and I shared an app and each got a meal / drinks. $200 check and walked out of there still hungry. I don't mind paying extra for good food but when it's small portions and doesn't fill you up is my issue.

Had the clam chowder and lobster bites for a few bites after driving up and being a coastal MA girl all my life, have to say the chowder could have been better and the tempura batter on fried lobster bites was a bit heavy and oily. Going for dinner tomorrow night and hoping for a redemption dinner.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. I was surprised my husband suggested this place where he doesn’t like seafood but there was plenty on the menu for him to choose. I started with a blueberry salad and got the haddock with little neck clams for my main meal. The sauce was to die for! I would put that on everything. Hubby got the chicken and pasta in vodka sauce and cleaned his plate. The atmosphere was very romantic and they seated us near a window so we could look out at the harbor. My only complaint is I didn’t save enough room for dessert, the skillet cookie sounded amazing.

The place to dine when in Boothbay. Outstanding views, elegant venue, exquisite food, great staff. Lobster was fantastic. Sushi was a pleasant surprise and among the best I've had. Highly recommend.
