If you love smoked bbq and beer, this is the restaurant for you. I enjoyed this more than any other bbq place I've been in Maine. They had some very creative appetizers and their burnt ends were delicious. The brisket sandwich was tender with a great sauce. My brother in law had their version of a Philly Steak. My favorite beer was the Dan's Irish Stout.

I have had brisket in Texas and all over the south.
The brisket here is excellent. I had the brisket sandwich and it was awesome, melt in your mouth.
Didn’t get a chance to try their beer but friends say it is excellent.
Busy in the middle of the winter in a small town which should tell you something.
Prices very reasonable.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and that is where the positive comments end. The place was not bust, 5 tables and 4 people at the bar. Yea the service was so very slow. Our server did not know the drinks or what liquor was available, she brought our drinks WITH the food and so the ice was melted and watered down our cocktails. The food was actually horrible. We were so disappointed. We were really looking forward to this place. The server never came back to ask us if we needed anything-> after we asked for silverware [that she never brought]! 10 out of 10 do not recommend, sadly.

Booziest beer I’ve ever had, ever
Great cozy brewery by the water. Plenty of seating and a solid variety of brews. The salt taters go growth with Wood Cutter.

We went here in early December after an evening at Gardens Aglow at the Coastal Maine Botanical gardens and this was one of the few places open that time of year in Boothbay. The restaurant was almost empty but we were seated right off and the staff was attentive for such a slow time of year. The food was excellent and the freshly made pretzel appetizer was TO DIE FOR!!!!

My wife and I have been mug owners for years. Today (in the middle of the off-season and for the first time since joining) we were turned away because this place apparently now requires a reservation. A half empty brewery. . . .at 4pm. . . . .in December! I hope the owner reads these. You just turned away 6 hungry, beer-drinking MEMBERS!! Bird in the hand, brother.

This place was delicious and very lively!!! They did run out of some items after we got there, so better to come early, but we loved the brisket sandwich and ciders ❤️ also 50% off your first drink with proof of Garden’s Aglow ticket day of!

Atmosphere and vibe are awesome, great experience good service, I’m a beer snob so I found the Kolsch to lack flavor, and the stout was average, however, I only had two beers and there are over a dozen beers on tap so I’ll be back to give the other beers a try.

The Best Resturant in Booth Bay, Period.
Y'all this place was like being wrapped in a warm hug from the moment you are greeted. Everyone likes their job and wants to create a lovely experience for you. The host who also happened to be the owner was so kind and treated us like family. She ended up chatting with us for most of our meal. The bar tender was also incredible and made sure we never wanted for food or drinks.
Now the drinks! Excellent cider and my husband really enjoyed his pale ale. I don't even like most ciders but this was incredible and not overly sweet.
The food...HONEYYY as a Texan I am PICKY about BBQ. Well slap me sideways because that BBQ was some of the best I have had in a long time. We ordered the burnt ends to start and they were melt in your mouth, right amount of sauce without being smothered finger licking delicious. Then we ordered the Steak Pizza and the Brisket Sandwich. I have never been so jealous of a Brisket Sandwich. Large, hunky, juicy, smoky pieces of brisket. Lawwrd! My pizza was also incredible with the right hint of garlic and cheese. Also the portions are super generous! No leaving hungry here.
Also what was surprising was the prices. Where everything in Booth Bay is over priced and frankly subpar on portions (think appetizer size for $40). FootBridge Brewery didn't disappoint. They also shared they reworked their entire menu over the summer. So if you haven't been go check out the lovely new menu!
Also PET FRIENDLY PATIO. 🩵

Warm and welcoming service makes you want to accidentally buy a house in town and never leave. Wide variety of beers and the smoker crushes it.
