My wife and I have lived our whole lives in Maine(married for 51!yrs!) we know every good diner from York to Eastport…. without question, this is the very best!! Kelly and Dan and the rest of the staff are so focused on the quality of the food and service that it is so uplifting….. especially in these stressful times that we live…. and Kelly has a keen sense of as to how important it is for all patrons that kids are happy!!!!! Wherever you come from…. GO TO KELLYS!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Oh my, this place is lovely and bright! The individuals working here are welcoming, listen to you and serve with a smile. (I appreciate when you order two dishes and switch) we had biscuits and gravy scrambled egg and French toast with bacon. Best biscuits and gravy of my life!! Coffee is so rich and delicious!! It’s an intimate location (up stairs be prepared) with off street parking, clean bathrooms available. The food is so delicious, flavorful and generous portions. Luckily they do to go orders so you could call ahead and have someone with you go up the stairs or maybe if you ask and can’t climb stairs they could meet you at the base of the stairs. Excellent place that’s interested in spreading joy!!

I will say things are very overpriced for what they are. I got the Kelly’s breakfast bowl and it was very small for 20$ in price.
Service overall was good and place was cute but definitely paid way too much for breakfast considering portion sizes.

A really cute little cafe with a lovely view toward the footbridge and bay! The food was yummy. He had over-easy eggs with corned beef hash brown and I had scrambled egg on avocado toast. They charged me $1.50 for a few tablespoons of salsa and $3.00 for a slice of toast to go with his breakfast. That was a bit surprising, or I would have given this experience a 5 star.

The food here was great (the bowl, French toast, and avocado toast were absolutely perfect), and this may be the best memory my kids have of Maine because the people who work here and run the cafe were so kind. Gina and Kelly had “treasure chest” for the kids (with mom’s permission) after the meal and they absolutely doted on the kids. It was such a heartwarming treat alongside our lunch that day! We will come back for the food and people anytime we visit Boothbay Harbor!

He LOVED IT-huge chunks of corned beef and potatoes.

Kelly’s Cafe is a quant jewel in Boothbay Harbor. Kelly and her team are warm, friendly and fun. The cafe is bright and welcoming with a lovely view of the footbridge and inner harbor. And the food is delicious. Her Blueberry Pie Overnight Oats will keep you powered for a day of walking the town. While I’m not usually a fan of Biscuits and Gravy, at Kelly’s, it’s delicious with a homemade buttery biscuit. Kelly’s Cafe is definitely return trip worthy! Thank you Kelly and team for a fabulous breakfast experience!
