I've only ever been there for breakfast but it's been consistently good each time! Really cute interior. Small rooms and cozy as you can imagine due to it being inside a house renovated for a restaurant.I recommend the breakfast sandwiches! The fruit cups and bowls are also very good!

This is one of the few restaurants open year round in the quaint, coastal town on a peninsula, Boothbay Harbor, Maine. This place is down around the other side of "town" slightly heading toward East Boothbay... near the very end of the Harbor...but it's a pleasant walk on a nice day. Mama D's is a wonderful place to provide delicious fuel for the body! The customer service is very kind, helpful, polite, and prompt without being pushy. They offer quite a few gluten free choices, including english muffins ... this makes me sing alleluia when I hear they have them in stock! My two eggs were a bit overcooked (I'd asked for poached easy, and they weren't at all runny), but still acceptable, so I didn't say anything. The environment is cozy and kitschy, kind of like being in your great grandma's kitchen or dining room. At the time, there was Christmas decor, as well as the usual hats, bird houses, license plates, and many other memorabilia type things as decor. Everywhere. Even so, there was no dust that I could see, and the place was tidy and clean (as it always is whenever I've been there, which is at least a half dozen times!) Both of us enjoyed our late breakfast before heading to Camden for the next few days. We'll definitely be back, as this was our third visit in 3 months. You must definitely stop in for fuel for the body and soul!

The grilled blueberry muffins were exceptional; breakfast was delish. But the gentle vibe of happy people serving their community still lingers in our hearts.

Long story short... this place was a huge disappointment after being recommended by our landlady. Unfriendly service all through plus nickel and diming for even the basic condiments. We do not intend to return. There are other cafes we'd rather spend money at and would advise the same.

Very cute and quaint, country-home style restaurant. Comfortable seating at tables that are not all crammed together. We went for breakfast, and enjoyed it. The food and coffee was good. Good service too.
We tried many places during our stay in Booth Bay Harbor but this is the place we returned to. No harbor views. Just good and plentiful food for breakfast with pleasant service and a nice atmosphere. We did not try lunches. Too full from breakfast.Vegetarian options: Veggie omelettes, breads etc.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast while on vacation a couple weeks ago and really loved it. It was a little busy, but the food was delicious and worth the wait! Our waitress was very friendly and we really enjoyed the outdoor seating in the beautiful fall weather.

Friendly, quaint and a good breakfast. Easy walk from town. The Teacher's Pet breakfast is tasty unique.
