Had an outstanding lunch at McSeagull’s. Wife had grilled chicken sandwich on a brioche bun, I intern had the haddock sandwich outstanding. Our server, Amanda was awesome.

Delicious! Mussels were delicious and fresh, fried haddock pieces were so good! Of course clam chowder was really good too. Lovely view of harbor. Definitely recommend

We arrived with reservations outside, but they said they could only sit us inside- and it was pretty miserable watching our waitress (and so many people running out to serve the deck), walk by without our food for an hour with a toddler that was getting bored and hungry. We both ordered salads, but they did not come out first, but with our food. My lobster bisque had two pieces of chewy meat, and my daughter’s chicken was burnt and dry. We flushed $90 down the drain of a miserable dinner. There was no drink refills or apology when they dropped the ticket off at our table, except a bag of oyster crackers to get us by while waiting on our food.

Completely over the top experience!!! At 4PM we called for reservations for 17....No Problem!!! We got there at 5:00 and a long table in a perfect place was set up and ready. From the start our server Jen (or Jenny) was friendly and funny and so good at being informative and flexible. All staff were like that. The food was hot and good and all thoroughly enjoyed.....The Clam Chowder is to die for, and the Lobster eaters said it was the best of 4 in Boothbay Hbr this week!!!!! These folks are all from Minnesota and Washington State and winter with us in Arizona...this was their first Maine experience and they are all thrilled!!!!!!!!!

Hostess was very accommodating and friendly right on the water for location. Our waitress was not very attentive and hard to find when needed . She took our order and disappeared then served our food and not to be seen again till asked the hostess if the waitress could get i our check. Luckily the food was good

Extremely disappointed! Ordered the haddock, potatoes, and asparagus. It wasn’t even warm and was blah! I am from New England and have much higher expectations for a seafood restaurant. Will not return.

We’ve come here quite a bit in the last few years since finding it during a summer day in Boothbay. With options to sit inside or outside, it is a great Maine-style small town seafood restaurant. They also offer land fare like Beef Short Rib, Steak, Chicken, in addition to the seafood. A restaurant that has a smaller menu tends to do very well on those foods instead of restaurants with 100+ meals on a menu.
I try to keep it variable but I keep finding myself getting the fisherman’s platter - lots of seafood that is fresh and flavorful - and the fries here are the best - pre frozen most likely but certainly double fried for the perfect crisp. Good selection of beers and mixed drinks. I strongly recommend you add this as a place to go and try. It can be very busy in the summer but it is worth the wait.
I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese (listed as a side, but was plenty for dinner) and it was SO GOOD! My husband had a hot buttered lobster roll and that also didn’t disappoint! We were glad we came to McSeagull’s before we left Boothbay.

What a great place! Terrific location, food was fantastic, and service was excellent. Our server Ginger was fun and a pro - she provided attentive service and proactively shared details about the Gluten Free options. I had the cold lobster roll on a Gluten Free bun, and it was the best I've had anywhere! The coleslaw was delicious. The espresso martinis were so perfect I had to have two of them!

Got take out from here on a Thursday night. The meals were good enough with the notables being delicious kids menu buttered noodles and the fish tacos. Steamers were delicious but they didn't come with butter, I guess you have to ask for that. Definitely would go again for a quick bite/takeout.
