The finest chowder ever! We had it two years ago and returned this year for more. Also Peter Lemmon had some really fine oysters. We took some smoked salmon dip with us. It was amazing!

First place we ate while vacationing from Texas. The food was excellent. Lobster roll, pulled pork sandwich, fish and chips — all were excellent. Wait stuff is very friendly. Lots of seating and live band was so pleasant. Oh and get some clam chowder — so good!

The only reason the food was rated average is because we didn’t eat it. We wandered in with a party of four and found no one standing at the reception desk even though their phone was there… We wandered in past a shellfish counter and were promptly ignored by the chef there. Walked into the back and had more kitchen staff look at us like what were we doing. Basically the wait staff and reception was nonexistent and we will not be visiting again even though we live here.

Really enjoyed the meal here. A little pricey but tasted good and plenty of spirit in the drinks. Just wish they'd shut off the inside audio when the band is playing outside

One of few places open later in boothbay that was kid friendly. Our waitress was outstanding and super helpful. The food was delicious.

if your LGBTQ STAY AWAY. Not gay friendly at all! The bartender when I went there seemed ANGRY at us. We barely walked in and she didn’t even great us before beratingly asking us for our drink order. I asked for a Pepsi as I wasn’t drinking as I was driving and she let out an audible exhale that I wasn’t drinking while the others in my party was. We then felt uncomfortable being there. We were polite and was suggested we go here. They clearly were OVER serving a few people and seemed to be okay with this. Maybe if we ever go back we hope to see a new bartender who doesn’t make you feel like a burden for coming, and sorry I was the driver and not drinking. We would have tipped if you weren’t so disappointed we came in.

We’ve been coming for years and the atmosphere is still wonderful, however the food quality has gone down. The Haddock taco dish had zero flavor at all. None. It was basically fish topped with sour cream and a side of lemon. Not very impressed. Not even the slaw on top had an ounce of flavor. This use to be a favorite of ours but not worth spending money on dishes that are tasteless.
Enjoyed two lunches at Mine Oyster during our vacation near Boothbay Harbor.
Good food, good service and overlooking Boothbay Harbor.

Delicious oysters - both raw and grilled. Tuna sandwiches were great. We recommend this place for seafood.

Service was very slow, it was not that busy either. Great views from the deck. Interior was bare, old, and dingy. Food was ok, sushi ok, clam chowder pretty good, nice and thick and full of seafood and potatoes. Baked Mac and cheese SUCKED, it was noodles cooked in milk with a bit of cheese sprinkled over top. Prices are high and portions are small. Would not come here again.
