OK place overall, but a bit pricey. Nothing special. Nice Bathrooms and Showers.

A favorite place. Really good beer, food and and a great atmosphere. We try to go multiple times every week we are in Boothbay.

The best food and drink North of Portland.

We camped for three nights here and were fortunate enough to hit the Friday night Brisket. We enjoyed the beer garden and the restaurant for the Brisket, Excellent food, pizza and service. The staff couldn't make us feel more comfortable. The Brewery beer choices also excellent. We'll be taking some for our continuing road trip. We enjoyed visiting Boothbay shops and tours, just a few minutes down the road from the Brewery. Thank you Boothbay Brewery for making our trip to Boothbay a memorable experience.

Love-love-love this place!! Such a wonderful atmosphere and staff. The Tuna beer and bottle of Cabernet wine were terrific, as was the various food items we got. Everything was wonderful! We also stayed here as Harvest Host guests and can’t say enough positive!

It was a bit of a confusing process when we first arrived outside, so we opted to dine inside. Starting a tab at the outset was a first for us anywhere, but the bartender explained the logic if we were the type to wander from the dining room to outside.
We ordered the pretzel bites along with the sweet and sassy pizza. The beer cheese sauce was decent, and the wholesale bites were good.
The pizza could have been cooked a bit longer and had some more sassy in the form of more red pepper flakes, but the kitchen chef was moving as fast as humanly possible.
We loved the interior and might return at a saner time of the year, but there are many other options in the area.
Starting off the dining hour to hear one late arriving staff member offer up her excuse of being late due to a friend she hadn't seen for 30 years is beyond lame.

**Decided to update my recent review after seeing the condescending reply from BCB.
Yes, we read the sign outside, but we wanted to sit inside.
We repeatedly told your bartender to take his time since besides taking drink orders, he was running food outside, explaining to other dumb guests like us about your running a tab first, and trying to assemble a few to-go pizza boxes.
Our pizza was a bit doughy and needed a bit more time in your wood fired oven, but as first-time dinners in here, is that the normal pie? The last thing we were going to do was to send the pizza back, considering that she was slammed.
We did not care about $24 for the 12" pizza and totally know that every place is dealing with a staff shortage, but your attitude tells me that you should be in some other business and not a restaurant or dealing with the paying public.

We had a great time, and this was our second stop on our RV trip. Riley met us at the gate and gave us a welcome bag, which was a really terrific, and unexpected gift. The staff was super welcoming and friendly, Brett took our beer order as we came into the beer garden, and had it ready as we rounded the corner. After a 4 hour drive, it hit the spot (thirsty botanist)! Site is dog friendly! The beer garden is beautiful and we sat out under umbrellas while the summer rain fell; truly memorable experience. We will definitely will return for more than a day next time!

Long time fan of the Boothbay Craft Brewery brews, love the Lobster Bake Lager. I visited the establishment for the first time since the pandemic and had a conflicting experience. My chief issue is that the pricing correlates with a full service dining experience, which used to be the case. But now all of it is "fast casual" dining completely outdoors at picnic tables patio furniture. That's fine in and of itself, but a $19 burger for what's basically a refined picnic is a little crazy. Not to mention adding bacon was $5 for two very crispy pieces. Again, no wait staff. It's not clear that you don't need to clear your tables and we were under the impression we needed to do that also.

The atmosphere was extremely crowded - and there were tons of young, screaming children around. For those of us who have already raised kids, this is extremely taxing. A couple times kids almost bumped into our table and more than once there were crying/screaming toddlers/infants. I'm not sure why children are allowed at an establishment who's primary objective is to serve alcohol. Community engagement and family friendliness is important, but this was not that. This was running amuck, children playing in the horseshoes sand pit, etc.

To the staff, as a first time visitor since the pandemic, navigating your establishment was confusing. My party was confused by the signage, and the multiple staff we passed clearly looking confused never greeted or assisted. I highly recommend clear signage explaining how your new system works. Additionally, I noticed a bottleneck of service; the counter you have for initial seating was backed up with folks waiting to get their table number. At the same time I was waiting to close out for example, there was a party ahead of me waiting to be seated. It took a painful amount of time for the staff to explain the system to them, and then the person wanted to sample beer. These are all reasonable expectations a customer wants to experience (closing/paying, sampling, purchasing of beer), but they should not be all at one counter as this creates extremely frustrating bottlenecks like mine. I had a small tab I wanted to closeout and waited several minutes to do so. I do not expect "city" service speed, but I do expect the customer experience to be better designed. Mind you, the time I visited was early evening on a weekday and not a marginal pre-close window.

I advise to focus on making beer and perfect small expansions rather than quantity of them (beer, the RV/camping, food, oyster service, indoor dining). It feels like a scattershot and I'm confident it can do better.

We have mixed reviews about our stay here. Staff super friendly, concept really cool, but found the restaurant very expensive for what you get.

Craft beer was ok, but hated the setup of our site. We were on site 15 and it faced inward to two other campers. It’s was annoying and we didn’t get to enjoy our time outside. Other pull throughs would have been better.

Still giving a 4 star rating, but just wasn’t our thing. Nice spot if that’s what you like.

We decided to try out this brewery for dinner this evening. When we arrived we had plenty of seating options and loved the space outside for kids to play. I ordered two drinks, a hummus plate, a half order of french fries and an order of wings. Our total came to $90 after a 20% tip. While the price felt steep for so little, I understand it is the summer season and I don't mind paying for quality food. Our food arrived missing the wings. Fries were a good size portion but the humus plate had 3 slices of carrot, 3 small sticks of celery, 4 slices of radish and 3 slices of cucumber. Again I don't mind paying for good food, and the hummus was incredible, but the portion was lacking. As we finished our hummus and fries we began to wonder where our wings were. After waiting a bit longer, we asked if they were coming. About 12 minutes went by and a server came to our table to ask us what sauces we had with the wings, we let her know and she explained it had been a mistake and the wings were just waiting in the window. Another 15 minutes went by when some very chrispy wings finally arrived. 7 wings to be exact. We paid $25 for 7 wings that took far too long without so much as an apology. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for structured service or to fill your belly. But would definitely recommend the hummus plate!

We had a great time camping at Boothbay Craft Brewery! Friday Brisket was a delicious meal.Staff and owners are friendly and helpful. Campsite was clean and quiet. We can’t wait to visit again!

Very expensive for a place where there is no wait staff. You have to place your own drink and food orders at an outdoor counter. You have to clear your own dishes. You pay/checkout at that same counter which can be cumbersome due to the long wait as people sample beers, order food and drink, etc. Also felt like a nursery school with all the kids running around. The price was not worth it.
