East Boothbay General Store

Amazing people and amazing food.

I've been going here for many years when in town. They have awesome breakfast pizza, great sandwiches, and wonderful muffins. Their donuts in the summer are amazing too!

Pretty bummed out about a phone call I just had with the East Boothbay general store. I have a food allergy and I was wondering if they could check their label on a certain product to see if my allergen was in it and they said they could not do that. I asked in a few different ways and I asked if that would be something that they could do in the future as I could understand if it's busy and them not being able to do it at this moment, but they just responded by saying no we cannot do that.
I was pretty surprised by this as most places can at least accommodate by checking a label. Over the years I've had other good experiences there and I am really sad about this experience. I am a local person that tries to support local businesses and this just blew my mind.
I have worked in customer service for approximately 35 years and I would never treat a customer like this.

The best muffins, pizza, this chicken wraps and on and on. Great staff!

So glad we found this place! A perfect stop after exploring Ocean Point. The pastries and coffee are amazing and the store merchandising is really cool. We spent half hour browsing the curated food items and Maine themed gifts. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave us tons of recommendations for things to do in the area.

Best old fashioned general store in the state

Fresh and delicious food that's served in a friendly atmosphere. Its a must stop if you're in the area.

Such a cute store and the absolute friendliest staff around. Visiting this store for a quick snack and coffee every morning was one of our favorite parts of visiting Boothbay.

Great food, friendly staff!

Small cute little store, worth a stop if you want a quick sandwich, coffee drink or slice of pizza. The cooler has cold drinks, sandwiches, salads. Prices aren't too bad, unlike many other places in Boothbay.

We shared a pre-made tuna sandwich on toast which was very large and really tasty!! Yum!

Great little store. Had nice seating outside and the food was a good value. I would recommend stopping, we stopped for tee shirts. The tuna sandwich was wonderful, enough for two people.
