“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.”

“I would absolutely recommend Smokey’s! We moved here from Texas and this is the closest we could get to good bbq here! My main note is that the Mac and cheese wasn’t hot (temperature wise, it was warm/cool) and I prefer my brisket to have a thicker bark on it but that’s purely personal preference. Everything was delicious!!”

“The food was decent and the portions reasonable. While the flavors were good, nothing really jumped out at me as amazing. This does not mean I wouldn’t recommend it, only that it wasn’t a “wow” meal so much as a safe one.

The waiter was both patient and attentive. He saw to our orders and returned when we were ready. He was neither talkative nor social. There is an art to waiting tables and friendliness just wasn’t in his wheelhouse.

The restaurant was clean and presentable. But like the menu as well the waiter it wasn’t bold. A great place for a big family event.”

“Brewsters has great food, sports on the TVs, amazing drinks, for less cost than most other restaurants around Brewer & Bangor area. What makes it one of the greatest places around is the Staff and Owner they do so much for the community, help families in need and take amazing care of their customers especially those regulars who come in all the time. I would give my money to them before I’d ever give it to a huge franchise restaurant.”

“Jason’s catered for our wedding & not only did the guests rave about how good the pizza was, but the service was top notch too! Definitely consider for your large events! They didn’t just deliver the pizza, without hesitation they set it up. Absolutely amazing! 5 stars because 6 isn’t a thing.”

“I'm a local and love Yoshi's not just for the food but the music it offers. I usually am there for the food, which is always delish. Some friends came to visit from NM and we ate at Yoshi's last nite. Our waitress, Shar, was fairly prompt to greet us (after about 5 mins) and ask for our drink orders. Came back with them fairly quickly. We ordered apps and sushi. Duck confit rolls (exceptional)!came out 1st followed by sushi. But surprisingly oddly our chili lime and garlic soy edamame didn't make it out before that. The came the Caesar salad, then Kobe beef skewers. We asked abiut the edamame orders from the bus boys/ppl who brought the food out since Shar was nowhere to be found and it took about another 15 mins to get one order of the edamame. Still no garlic soy edamame. Shar was in the area tending to newly seated customers (literally 2 steps away from us) and never came to check on us. We asked a food server to find her for us and she never came. My husband wanted another tuna roll but, again, not Shar. My friends had to ask the food servers for forks/knives and returned with an attitude. When Shar finally returned we asked for the check and told her the garlic soy edamame never came, that we had to ask the food servers since she wasn't around and let her know that my husband had wanted another roll but since she never come to check in us he didn't want it now. She apologized and removed the garlic soy edamame from our check. But with such crummy service she should've offered to take off on our or sushi orders as well. If I hadn't been a long time customer and didn't know this Yoshi's wait staff is usually on point, I wouldn't want to come back. But fortunately, this wait staff service issue was an anomaly. But, I would recommend that Yoshi's management reiterate that the customer experience should be excellent, not marginal, so customers feel good about dropping $300. Very disappointed wit the service we receive with our out of town guests last night.”

“First let me say I love Pepino's Taco Stand and have never been disappointed in the food until yesterday. We ordered take out which is what we normally do. The El Pepino was very small with little chili on it and the chili was very dry. I asked for an order of guacamole dip with no vegetables. The portion was much smaller than usual and it was basically a cup of lettuce and other vegetables with about a tablespoon of guacamole under the vegetables. One bad experience after years of positive ones will not stop us from continuing to eat here but thought you should be aware that you need to double check your quality control.”

“I picked up a 4 pack of the Andes Mint at the Weymouth Family Grocery in Brooks, ME. All I can say is wow! These were amazing!! It's a good thing I don't live in Bangor because I would be in there everyday! We do want to stop in sometime and try some other flavors!”

“Ummm... had no idea this was even here. My wife wanted fried chicken last night, and local choices for good bone-in southern fried chicken are limited. Opened up DoorDash figuring we'd just get KFC and Chester's popped up as an option. We got two 3-piece dinners and a couple apple pies. We received, literally, the biggest and juiciest chicken wings and breasts we've ever seen. Well seasoned, crunchy, flavorful breading. The pies were fried like in the days of old, crispy and loaded with cinnamon and spice. I think this is our new local chicken fix!”

“We've been looking for an Asian restaurant since moving here a year ago. We are very happy to find this place. The food was spot on, delicious, seasoned correctly, with generous scallops and shrimp. The folks there were so nice, customer focused.”

“Great tasting gyros. We tried both chicken and lamb gyros and they were great. The salad with Greek dressing was so fresh and delectable. Don't forget the baklavas warm with sweet honey and nuts. Highly recommended.”

“I went to Mack's for the 1st time today. Mostly to see Collette. I knew the spot from years ago but WOW! So nice. I ordered a drink and chatted with a regular who told me what was good ( while yelling at the Pat's on tv) so I got a burger. It was delicious. In the back room there was old country music playing with seniors dressed up & dancing. The food and drinks were great. The atmosphere, AMAZING. I'll go back because I left smiling.”
