We discovered this place, and I really recommend the location, the service, and the food. It's really beautiful.
We tried the Grapenut dessert, and it's truly awful. 🤢

Recommended by friends who had visited who said lobster rolls were the best they had ever had. Carrot cake was excellent as well.

I can't think of a more perfect way to experience a Maine lobster. Perfect cooking breathtaking views and the waitress was reading our minds almost telepathically!

This is one of those places you might pass up on external inspection…. Don’t! The lobster roll was fantastic and pricing was grea
Cozy out of the way restaurant with top notch service and food. We had the lobster roll and fried haddock with carrot cake for dessert. Portions were very generous and the food was superb.

The Eagle's Nest is a small diner on the banks of the Penobscot River in Brewer, Maine. There's a view of the river from most of the seating but the food is the main draw. Fish, scallops, clams, and shrimp, every bight is tasty and done just right. It's always busy and that indicates good food and repeat customers. We love it!

The lobster roll was $32. But filled with loose little pieces of meat. Worst lobster roll I have ever had. The fried haddock was not fresh. Nice view of river but the food is not good. The price is at par with other restaurants.

We went based on these reviews and 2 different people in town recommended it also! We pulled up and the place is just a very small hole in the wall place and had it not come highly recommended, I’m a type of person that never would’ve tried it! My husband and I ordered the hot lobster roll - it came with the lobster roll, fries and coleslaw! The waitress was super nice and friendly! The food came quickly! And oh my word!!!!!!! I can’t tell you enough of how amazingly good it was!! Their fries were fresh and sooo good and crispy- the seasoning on it was really tasty! The coleslaw was very good with a hint of sweet! And trust me, it has to be good for me to eat it because I don’t like coleslaw, but I ate almost all of it! And the best for last, the hot lobster roll - it was out of this world soooooooooo amazing!! It was so huge and piled with lobster that I literally had to eat much of the lobster with a fork before I could even get to the roll!!! I’ve had lobster rolls at several places across the US but this was the best lobster roll I’ve ever had!! I just wish I lived close because I would be there every week!! Trust me - you have to try this place!! Oh and the view is great because it’s on a river!!

The food tasted good. But the amount of food was little compared to the price, though it’s my opinion. Also, there wasn’t really any options besides French fries and coldslaw. The place was full when we got in and because it was a small place, had to wait outside.

Small diner with out of this world seafood. If you don't go here it's your own fault. They got hamburgers too but I strongly recommend the seafood. We split a large bowl of lobster chowder and the seafood platter. The helpings are large and tasty. Great service. Great there early because it gets crowded and they close early. Highly recommended
