I went to Mack's for the 1st time today. Mostly to see Collette. I knew the spot from years ago but WOW! So nice. I ordered a drink and chatted with a regular who told me what was good ( while yelling at the Pat's on tv) so I got a burger. It was delicious. In the back room there was old country music playing with seniors dressed up & dancing. The food and drinks were great. The atmosphere, AMAZING. I'll go back because I left smiling.

One of the worst places as far as customer service... went in to pick up a delivery order that had said ready at 6:50 pm i was told it would be a few minutes. I have come in twice since and have heard a few minutes each time. Its not 7:08 and she now says we just started that she had to prep a few things for the order now not sure what is happening back there but 20 minutes and counting is more than a few minutes the last time I checked

Was up from Portland stopped in for lunch, portions were generous, can’t beat the prices and the staff was great. Owner was onsite, made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Will definitely be back next time I am up this way again.

I never give fill stars. Full stars imply perfection. I Appreciate this place, because they're new, and always ask what I think....scincarisly.

Extremely disappointed. Evident why empty at peek of brunch time. Do not give this place a try and waste your money.

A truly exceptional spot in Brewer!

Mack's offers a fantastic experience all around. The restaurant is always impeccably clean and has a fresh but casual vibe. The menu is outstanding - you absolutely HAVE to try the chicken wings (bone-in or boneless), hand cut Russet potato fries, and Mini Mack's - fried mac and cheese bites (dipped in honey mustard, they're a game changer!). The kitchen staff clearly takes pride in their work, as every dish is top-notch.

Collette, the star ⭐ bartender, makes a legendary Bloody Mary (or Maria!). I also love their range of events, catering to everyone - we've enjoyed kid-friendly local wrestling shows or for a night out with friends, I enjoy Dingo's DJ sessions like 90s vs. 2000s hip hop nights or his famous Maximum Karaoke is a blast!

Highly recommend Mack's for any occasion!

Meatloaf, for the win, was worried about the portion size being two slices. Wow, was completely satisfied they should say two huge slices. Also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich another win. We will definitely be coming back again. The order did take a bit of time to come out, but the taste and quality was worth it.

Thank you Cory. You made our visit visit you again soon

Well…our first clue should have been the smell of a bowling alley when we walked in and the next should have been the one person sitting at the bar when we came in at lunch time. We had waited for over an hour for our food when the bartender clued us in they were having problems with the pizza oven. The only other table there the whole time we were there was a table of children, we could only assume to be an employees children, as there were no adults sitting at the table and the bartender, the person sitting at the bar, and eventually two others we assume to be staff came in and surrounded them. After about an hour and 15 minutes we got our food. One of the pizzas was like soup, the other was completely raw in the middle with only the outer edge being cooked, yet both still served. The other four of us got smash burgers, they were ok but the fact that we sat there so long for smash burgers and raw pizza overshadowed any positivity we could have found in our first and LAST visit to this place.

Update: The children being in the restaurant and the fact that your establishment is family friendly has zero relevance to my review. We are all parents and grandparents that were there. The fact that was the only other table was the point…and the staff surrounded the table most of the time they were there, which is where my assumption of a staff members family and not actual customers, we did not see an adult sitting at the table (not to say there wasn’t). Doesn’t really matter, just the point that maybe we should have checked the other reviews before deciding to go there because you all proved them to be valid. Thanks for your response.
