Just happen to be driving by while on vacation in Maine and immediately smelled the BBQ. We love BBQ and have high expectations for a good one. This place was absolutely fantastic . Had brisket, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and the beans. WOW!, As great as everything we ate was, it got topped off with the perfect corn bread. Didn't even need to add butter. Pleasant service and no waiting at all. We weren't having a good trip with many downfalls and this place was actually the highlight of our vacation. I'll be bragging back in Mass.

We have visited Smokey's multiple times and were so excited to have them cater our wedding. It was a huge hit with our guests and we got so much positive feedback! They were so accommodating of multiple allergies and clearly labeled food. The setup was professional, the service was quick, and the food stayed hot. One of the owners, Maggie, was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend Smokey's BBQ as a restaurant and for catering any events or weddings!

we ordered take out and I thought it was a bit pricey until I saw how much food we got which was alot. Very tasty I should have asked for some BBQ on the side. I only saw one person working the floor, register and the phone. The inside was a bit small but there. Definitely will have the food again. My husband loves BBQ watches the shows hits food trucks and he said it's the best he has had yet!

Amazing food. The baked beans were very tasty, Mac and cheese was a 10, brisket was the best I’ve ever had and the ribs were fall off the bone. Very friendly staff.

This place is named Smokey's for one very good reason, it's because they have real smoked meat. So yeah I couldn't wait to get some of that smoke flavor down my gullet. The food was good, prices are reasonable they did run out of cornbread, and the iced tea came in a bottle. That would be one major thing I would change is that I would have homemade iced tea it would taste better and be more profitable. Seating area is small so it's probably a good option for takeout and parking was a little limited but other than that I will go back for that smoke meat flavor.

Great food, solid staff, decent prices. Doesn’t get much better than that. Smokers are rolling all day in the back. Lived in Ga for 15 years and I’d give this a solid 8/10 for brisket and 9/10 on the butt. Best I’ve had in Maine and especially for the taste it’s nice being able to get huge portions without spending $100 for a meal. BBQ the way it’s meant to be.
