Absolutely the best BBQ in the state. The brisket is to die for with its super moist meat and generous portions you really can't go wrong ordering from here. I'd recommend the unhealthy marriage with its sliced sausage and decent amount of brisket for only 16 bucks as well as their baked beans for an additional 8. Their only gripe is selling the sauce for 25¢ each.

Smokies BBQ was exactly what we were looking for. The food was legit and hit that real BBQ spot for both of us. If you’re craving the kind of BBQ you’d expect from KC or Texas, this place delivers.

40 bucks for 2 sandwiches and 2 8oz sides . I’ve been told so much about the place I couldn’t help but have high hopes. I got the moo-pig so that I could try some pulled pork and brisket. Both were seasoned the same and one just as dry as the other. So hard to tell them apart in the sandwich. Without the bbq sauce it was a rough go. Wife got the pulled chicken which also was quite dry without it smothered in bbq sauce. Mac and cheese was cold and mid at best, and corn was just canned corn over seasoned with blackened or Cajun seasoning. If I wanted Maine’s spin on bbq I would have went to moes and spent half the price. Almost as if they reheated everything in a microwave and it sucked the juice out of what could have been decent bbq.

I would absolutely recommend Smokey’s! We moved here from Texas and this is the closest we could get to good bbq here! My main note is that the Mac and cheese wasn’t hot (temperature wise, it was warm/cool) and I prefer my brisket to have a thicker bark on it but that’s purely personal preference. Everything was delicious!!

Just happen to be driving by while on vacation in Maine and immediately smelled the BBQ. We love BBQ and have high expectations for a good one. This place was absolutely fantastic . Had brisket, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and the beans. WOW!, As great as everything we ate was, it got topped off with the perfect corn bread. Didn't even need to add butter. Pleasant service and no waiting at all. We weren't having a good trip with many downfalls and this place was actually the highlight of our vacation. I'll be bragging back in Mass.

We have visited Smokey's multiple times and were so excited to have them cater our wedding. It was a huge hit with our guests and we got so much positive feedback! They were so accommodating of multiple allergies and clearly labeled food. The setup was professional, the service was quick, and the food stayed hot. One of the owners, Maggie, was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend Smokey's BBQ as a restaurant and for catering any events or weddings!
