Excellent food. Excellent wine list. Really nice staff. Great ambience - relaxed, but nice. This was our first stop when we stayed in town for three days... and the best. The staff very kindly gave us other recommendations and while all were good, nothing was as good as Pondicherry. We loved it.
This place was 11/10. Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Great food, great drinks, very attentive service from the staff and the owners themselves, great atmosphere. Came in and the place was packed, and several people saw us waiting and said it was worth the wait. They were absolutely right. Host even took our drink order and got us drinks while we waited outside.
Found this place after a day on the lake have to say was absolutely blown away. Mike and his wife were extremely friendly as well as their staff. We had amazing food from start to finish from muscles to gumbo and home made spaghetti bolognese. Great mix of flavors and presentation bringing together an unforgettable dining experience. I have been to all the best restaurants in Portland and would say the food here is easily a contender if not better than some of these over hyped...
