The Queen's Head Pub provides a friendly atmosphere suitable for various occasions, from a Boy's Weekend to casual lunch. Located near a river with convenient parking, it offers ample indoor and outdoor seating. The menu features a smash burger, fish and chips, and a range of drink options, including local IPAs. Servers are attentive and quick, although experiences can vary, sometimes leading to longer wait times for drinks and food, especially when only two bartenders are working. Customers appreciate the historical photos and maps decorating the pub, adding to its charm. The food can be good and fresh, with some reports of missed orders and flavor issues. Desserts like cheesecake are occasionally unavailable. Visitors have enjoyed the great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food, including one of the best Scotch Eggs they've had. The outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy nice weather, though it can be a bit noisy at times. Despite occasional delays, the pub remains a popular spot for any season.
