An absolute hidden gem! The atmosphere is elegant and pristine. Service was friendly, made great recommendations and attentive to our every need. The food was absolutely delicious and impressively presented. We can't wait to go back!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and I'm so grateful they have gluten free pasta - and they made the sauce dairy free as well (for my food allergies). Also, it was delicious and had enough to take home leftovers. My family loved the pizza and chicken Parm as well!

The eggplant stacks was a delicious appetizer. The pepperoni pizza was made to perfection (the thick cut of the pepperoni curled up and a good ratio of sauce and cheese to crust) definitely worth visiting

We made a reservation and while it was not maxed out, even on a Thursday night in late August, better safe than sorry.
Bread basket tonight was herbed foccaccia, very good.
We split meatball and arancini apps. Meatballs were our preference between the two. Arancini were OK.
I had Tagliatelle Bolognese. It was decent enough just on this night it lacked depth. Others enjoyed eggplant parm and Chicken Milanese. I didn't sample them so can't comment.
I did like the ability to order half portion on the pasta dishes.
Wine choices were good, and we got good recommendations.
Overall, a good experience and I would return.

My family dined at Ancora over the weekend and had a FANTASTIC experience. Living in the Portland (ME) area we have become quite spoiled when it comes to food, and our meal was absolutely wonderful. From our server Kelsey, to the warm bread, great cocktails, and our meals, we loved it all.

I've been here so many times now. This restaurant is an hour away from my house, however worth every moment for the drive. The drive round trip of 2 hours should tell anybody how wonderful this place is. We even had a private party here where they let us take over the restaurant before service to celebrate my brother's wedding. And everything was perfect. I can't believe I have an updated this review! Bridgton is lucky to have this place and I wish there was a place like it closer to home.

Been a couple times and the staff is always fantastic...had the chicken Milanese last night... excellent...the meatballs are great and the Bolognese is delicious... Definitely recommend this place
