I was on vacation and found this little treasure. I was greeted with a friendly smile and heavenly smell of freshly baked goods! She bakes the best biscuits I've ever had! And there is a nice dining area inside which I didn't have a chance to try but I definitely will try on my vacation next year. I can't wait to come back to this bakery.

Dots is now our go-to for breakfast. Outstanding food. Rock bottom prices. Super friendly. Homey. Do not be afraid to chat with Dot. She's the best. A life long Mainer. Park on either side of the house (we prefer the field side). Ask what baked goods she has to take with you. Her pies rock. Don't forget to say Good Morning to Joe.

An experience NOT to be missed!!! "Homey" doesn't begin to describe the atmosphere...and you couldn't ask for sweeter people!!! We ended up getting cookies and donuts (free sample donut holes made those hard to pass up!!! Well played!?) Truly delightful!!! (And Dot sent us away with extra donuts on the house!!)

I stop here every couple weeks with a group of friends. I love the food. Not cheap but fresh and delicious. Stopped today in a hurry needing something light and got this kale salad. It’s SO good. Kale, crans, apples, walnuts, onion, raspberry vinegrette. Perfect.And the folks all a-bustle in the kitchen are a delight. Big belly laugh while ordering will bring me back!

We had been to Dot's for pies to go twice in the last two vacation visits to the area and love her pies. On this trip we got to stop in for weekend breakfast. Dot's blueberry pancakes are the best I've ever had! You get to choose from one or two per order and I was glad I chose two. The pancakes are stuffed with delicious Maine blueberries and paired with Dot's homemade jams is as good as breakfast gets. My wife ordered the breakfast egg, cheese, and sausage biscuit sandwich with home fries, Dot is a master at baking pies and biscuits and this breakfast sandwich was excellent. The home fries are the real deal, not those that are deep-fried. This pan-fried spuds were well seasoned and just the right amount. Dot's prices are very reasonable. If you want a special pie to go, call ahead so she has it ready.

Met a friend here for a late breakfast. Our food was really good except both of us had toast that was burned, which seemed odd, since everything else was so well-cooked.
Not just a stop for coffee! Oh my!!! I was visiting area and desired a cup of coffee. Another local shop was closed but with Yelp's help found another "coffee" shop nearby. Buy am I glad I did. What began as a trip inside to get a cup of joe, ended up being a delightful visit with Dot and a very tasty treat of homemade donuts, scone, and a couple homemade hand pies (apple and raspberry). I did share with family members but I easily could have eaten all the delicious treats myself. Highly recommend Dot's Bakery and Cafe. Good cup of coffee. Great homemade treats!!

Dot and crew are the nicest people. Prices are so affordable and the treats are pretty darn good. My fav was the old schoolHermit. 5 stars for the friendliest place in town. The pastry selection is large. The prices are so affordable. There is a lot of love here. The hermit was my fav. We also liked the biscuit with homemade jam was tasty too. My partner loved his Anadama bread. Dot and her crew are the loveliest group of humans.

They always have great food and a kind atmosphere. I highly recommend going there for breakfast, they have a ton of options to choose from. Everything is very good, and there is a kind atmosphere. Great bakery in my opinion!
