Great place to stop for a snack or sandwich. Outdoors with a very limited menu, but the food was great. We shared a couple of small plates and really liked the pigs wings. There a a small farm market related to the restaurant with a nice array of farm products. Definitely worth the visit.
We love stopping by the Rooting Pig! The menu is creative and makes great use of local foods. We typically share a couple of appetizers and one of the BAF sandwiches. It's a wonderful spot to sit outdoors at picnic tables on the lawn overlooking the meadow on a sunny day. Often there are families with small children playing, visiting the pigs, etc. Really just a nice spot to visit, shop and eat.

Easy 5 stars. They do an awesome job. Rooting pig is a home run every time. Store/ Market offerings always on point. Very unique vibe as well. Not going to find anything quite like it in close proximity. Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Owners/ their entire family are great! Couldn’t recommend more whether if you are visiting, summer, or local.
