Without Barn Door, we year-round residents would be out of luck. They bake, they barrista and they smile for real at all of us customers. The egg-bites are pure alchemy. A perfect combination of their very excellent croissant formula with a devinely cooked, jammy center egg, with cheese residing comfortably within and just the right warmth. Love those..

Traveling around Maine, I've been disappointed in the quality of breakfast restaurants, particularly those that are held up as "the best in town!" In this case, the breakfast was the best across all items - bacon, eggs, ham steak, pancakes, and potatoes. The employees were nice, too.
