We had 630 reservations and our table was ready for us. Be aware that there is a second floor - in case you have someone with trouble walking up stairs. Food was very good. My mussels were good but could have used a spoon and small fork to eat them. Had to use my fingers and regular sized fork. Also could have used a bowl for the shells. Consistently excellent food with beautiful and cozy ambiance. Both upstairs and downstairs dining areas as well as bar seating upstairs. Having a full dinner with drinks can get pricey. However they have plenty of less expensive appetizers and specials. Also gluten and dairy free options are appreciated. One of the best restaurants in the area for quality food.

Dropped into the Damariscotta River Grill on a weeknight in August. The bartender and wait staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful. The food was fabulous (I had a couple of seafood dishes). I look forward to my next visit!
