The Rooting Pig at Broad Arrow Farm is one of my absolute favorite spots to eat and drink! The staff is so friendly and attentive! The food is so freaking good. Every dish I've tried has truly knocked my socks off. Fresh, local, flavourful, unique, I could go on! Also, great selection of local beers! I can't recommend going here enough, it's amazing (:

Easy 5 stars. They do an awesome job. Rooting pig is a home run every time. Store/ Market offerings always on point. Very unique vibe as well. Not going to find anything quite like it in close proximity. Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Owners/ their entire family are great! Great place to stop for a snack or sandwich. Outdoors with a very limited menu, but the food was great. We shared a couple of small plates and really liked the pigs wings. There a a small farm market related to the restaurant with a nice array of farm products. Definitely worth the visit.

We love stopping by the Rooting Pig! The menu is creative and makes great use of local foods. We typically share a couple of appetizers and one of the BAF sandwiches. It's a wonderful spot to sit outdoors at picnic tables on the lawn overlooking the meadow on a sunny day. Often there are families with small children playing, visiting the pigs, etc. Really just a nice spot to visit, shop and eat.

When I saw this place had a perfect 5 stars I was not surprised one bit!We arrived early and with our pup. They were very accommodating and friendly.We ordered the deviled eggs which are a MUST as they are the most delicious deviled eggs I’ve ever had. You can also walk around the farm to see the sunflowers or the pigs! Will be recommending this place!

Visited The Rooting Pig today, a charcuterie bar that is open during the summer, as part of Broad Arrow Farm. The setting is serene and pastoral. They have an area for kids to play and run around too. Seating is outside and spaced out. You order from the outdoor bar, and the food is brought to your table by friendly staff. The quality of the food was excellent. I had one of the best Italian sandwiches ever. They also had vegan options as well as a large beer and wine menu. Great place to hang out on a summer afternoon.

This place is absolutely delicious. You are in the middle of a field, not expecting much. We ordered one plate, to try, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ended up ordering most of the things on their menu. This is a delightful stop and if you are looking for a delicious place to stop in south maine, even though its out of the way…. This place is worth the drive.

We went on a Wed for charcuterie o’clock at 4pm on a gorgeous Wed summer day. The large charcuterie board was packed with tasty, salty, creamy nibbles. The meat selection and cheese selection was beautifully balanced with a smattering of almonds, olives and cornichon pickles. The toasted ‘ndjua bread option was gobbled up moments after it was delivered to our umbrella-shaded table that overlooks the farm. Nice beer choices and the fruity, perfectly chilled Lambrusco were the pairings that made everything just right. The setting was perfect for our no-effort picnic.
