A standard lobster pound restaurant with very fresh and delicious seafood. The addition of the bar is ok, but I miss bringing my own refreshments

Although it was a rainy evening, the staff and food were remarkable and memorable! A beautiful drive from Boothbay Harbor but to be honest, the BEST scallops, oyster selections I’ve experienced this trip! I can’t wait to go backVegetarian options: Caesar Salad was divine

My friends liked their lobster and baked oysters but the $16.00+ haddock chowder was loaded with potatoes with only a hint of haddock. Gilbert's in Portland serves three times as much haddock in their chowder at less than half the cost.

This was our first visit to Muscongus Bay, unfairly to them we went after Red's and McLoon's. They have a very good lobster roll and their crab roll is also excellent. The buns might have a bit too much butter on them which overwhelms the meat a little.

The dock on the water is so nice. I seek this restaurant out when I am in the area because it's such a treat to get a lobster roll on a gluten free bun!

Disappointing. A crab cake that they charged $15 for was tiny , thin, and way overpriced. Lobster roll also disappointing. Roll fell apart; lobster fairly tasteless; very little except the fish on the bread; outrageously overpriced at $34. when you order a lobster without the full dinner you actually have to pay for butter. the corn was excellent.

We found this place just driving around. It was absolutely amazing, the lobster was so good, the lobster chowder with corn bread was phenomenal, and the views were amazing

This is a top spot if you want a classic lobster dinner with a big deck on a small harbor. There is an expensive bar with good wine available, and of course, a good beer selection. Downside is food that is not lobster is not as good. Fish tacos were unimaginative and kind of flavorless. Same with the slaw, although the veggie side salad was good. Fish Sammy was only OK.

Beautiful deck view of a charming, protected harbor. Great seafood, beer and wine. Live mellow acoustic music today (Sunday).

Wish I had listened to the previous reviewer who said it was the worst lobster roll he had ever had. It was way overpriced and just some chunks of lobster in a mayo sauce. And not that much lobster at all. We spent over $70 on the subpar lobster roll, 6 oysters, a crab cake (which was too salty and still raw in the middle) and a piece of corn. Do yourself a favor and SKIP IT. Wish we had…

We have ordered haddock sandwiches at every possible place in the Pemaquid Peninsula and nothing compares to those at Muscongus Bay Lobster! The fish is a thick fresh fillet that is coated in cheese, accompanied by a delicious tartar sauce. Along with the homemade coleslaw (or one can choose potato salad), it will be one of the best meals you have had! Friends who join us share in this assessment. That's just one item on the fairly extensive menu. The core item--lobsters--have also been unfailingly delicious. Recent guests of ours exclaimed, "that's the best dinner I have had in a long time!" Moreover, the view of charming Round Pond harbor is as great as the food! Don't miss this experience! Very friendly and hardworking staff too! Jane and Mark
