Truly excellent food and service. Kale caesar and fish & chips were the best I've had. The owner took time to chat. Views are spectacular of the harbor, and you can walk down the grass to the edge of it.

Has such potential. We were there in the off season so this could account for the experience—but it was very meh. The food was really middle of the road and the atmosphere felt…confused. Music appropriate for an awesome taco joint, website that says high(er)-end, and an actual atmosphere that is casual. Beautiful views.

We had a terrible experience. Appetizers and main course were served together. Our table was too small to accommodate all the food. All dishes were hot so we had to eat fast. The food was served by random people. We saw our waitress when taking the order and the check. The amazing thing is that no one thought this was a problem or that it is appropriate to say sorry. Stay away from this place.

Our first, but most assuredly not our last, visit. We were seated next to the window overlooking a foggy waterfront. To say the “Sole” is upscale bar does not truly describe the food and atmosphere. Our server, Eleanor, was very polite and efficient! The tuna crudo appetizer was absolutely delicious (perhaps the best sushi tuna we’ve ever eaten!)!! The smash burger and fish tacos entrees were generous and delicious! Congrats to Chef Florin (sp?) and the owners for hitting a home run and creating a must stop establishment.
I’ve been going here every time I visit Maine for the last 5 years. They’ve got creative, delicious food and drinks, in a really nice location. The view is amazing. Definitely worth going at least once, if not more.

Perfect in every way! Delicious food, great views & excellent location! We live in Boothbay and enjoy exploring happenings in the neighbor peninsulas. We had a delightful experience at Sole, staff was attentive and the food divine! My wife and I also appreciated the interior design and airy feel of the space throughout.
