Creative and delicious. One of the best meals we have had in recent years. Everything from appetizers to deserts were the best.

Delicious menu! Literally everything is amazing, some items with a little spice which I totally appreciate. The seaweed infused tequila is 5stars and the hand rolled Lobster sushi is a must! Keegan is a charmer and an excellent server. The drinks are fab. All around good time. We had a table of 7 and they didn't miss a beat.
Our group split the bill 3 ways. My husband and I paid for 4 apps, 1 dinner, and 4 drinks =$140 (+20%tip). We thought that was totally reasonable.
Perfect date night or an outting with friends, high quality food that's totally affordable.
Vegetarian and pescatarian items also available. Something for everyone.

Buck's was always our go-to place for a special summer dining experience, but now that it's under new management we were sadly disappointed. Be sure to check the menu options which unfortunately we didn't. My husband wanted a steak - the meat option was a double smash burger. McBuck's? He had to settle for chicken soup that was - well bland. I anticipated wonderful seafood - the marinated cod sounded weird so I opted for fish tacos which were just so-so. The oysters were great but they're available everywhere. The server was delightful and the seating was nice. Too bad the menu is so bad.
Enjoyed a wonderful evening dining at the Bar. Great atmosphere and energy watching the great service and food delivery. Wonderful way to spend Labor Day weekend!

The new owners/chefs have done a great job. The food was beyond our expectations. Latin American and Asian fusion with Maine ingredients. Great addition to the Blue Hill peninsula.

Oysters were good. Staff was accommodating. They had some gluten free options (for celiac) and the seaweed cocktail (I forget what it's called but it was delicious ) they had a gluten free bun for a burger
Buck’s is a lovely restaurant, from the inviting terrace as you walk in, to the bright open dining room and bar, and sunny porch on the side. The staff is cheery and attentive and the food is delicious, innovative and beautifully presented. The prices are very reasonable and the drinks, beer and wine selections are top notch. The oysters, crab tostadas, lobster hand rolls were superb, the crispy rice and street corn tasty sides and all the desserts are fabulous. From beginning to end, we were well taken care of and delighted with everything we had!

We loved every single darn thing about our visit. Low key and delicious. And fun to see so many neighbors ❤️
Best Corn and Chili Chowder ever! We would like the recipe :P
This place is very welcoming! Great food.
Buck's Restaurant is beyond a 5 Star restaurant. Having traveled the world over the last 30 Years, I've been fortunate enough to dine at some pretty amazing, top of the top, restaurants. Buck's Restaurant is at the very top of my list now. When you step into Buck's, you immediately feel a sense of elegance, and creative style all around you. I started off with Alaskan Snow crab as an appetizer. It was delightfully out of this world. Presented beautifully, with yuzu beurre blanc sauce, it looked and tasted so great, just right! Next up, a blood orange vinaigrette salad. The salad was refreshing and felt like an energetic, splash of light. A refreshing and uplifting adventure, so tasty, I was all in! The main course was the Rack of Lamb. I was absolutely floored by how delicious and captivating this Main Course was. You can tell that the Lamb was of the highest caliber of meat one can wish to dine on. Cooked perfectly, this was one of my very favorite dishes I've ever eaten. I've traveled to Greece and I can say without a doubt, this was the best lamb I have ever had. Presented with crushed pistachios and a tasteful amount of hot honey, accompanied by some of the tastiest pureed potatoes one could wish to have. I was in pure ecstasy eating this fabulously rich and filling dish. At this point, I wasn't sure I would have any room for dessert. However, there was no way I could pass up trying Buck's Chocolate Mousse. Chef Phil Le Breton informed me that the Mousse was made from a select batch of Belgian Chocolate. I believe him, I was in my glory. My taste buds experienced a perfectly sweet, seductive chocolate mousse that just was frankly heaven. If you want the very best, look no further than Buck's Restaurant. It's privately cool, the food is creative and expertly prepared. The staff is highly professional, always there when you need them, but a focus on giving you the privacy and space to enjoy your company and meal. Hands down, my favorite restaurant.
