Restaurantji's Brunswick recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“I'm from South Texas. So the food here was respectable, considering I was eating Mexican food in Maine. I enjoyed it. Could have used a little more seasoning, but all in all, it's pretty good. Guacamole was really good and fresh. Chips and salsa seemed store bought, as well as the corn tortillas. Fresh chips, fresh salsa, and homemade corn tortillas would send this place over the top. Staff was courteous and attentive.“
“We've been several times and the service is always friendly, the food is always correct and out quickly, and everything I've ordered has been tasty. I love the birria tacos, the chile relleno, and their mole. I wish they grilled their elote, but the preparation is good otherwise. Enchiladas are done well, and their burritos are filling and delicious. The only dessert I've tried was the flan, but it was house made and tasted good, I just wish they didn't top it with whipped cream and chocolate. The margaritas are always made just right, too. The salsa given with the chips is very mild, but when we sat at the bar most recently, our bartender let us try the housemade habanero salsa which was excellent. The music can be a bit loud, but it's a festive atmosphereOverall, we will continue to visit El Rodeo as part of our regular rotation.“
“Been here a few times, food and drinks are decent, steak is consistently too fatty to eat though (just steak flavored fat if we're being honest). Prices are a little steep for the drink quality, but not horrifically so (expect a few extra bucks for each drink). Otherwise this is a pretty decent place.“
“Food was incredible, I got the rice and beans in a burrito and my friend got the kids chicken tacos. Both were exceptional, the kids tacos were large and the burrito was plenty for lunch. I come here every couple weeks and every time it's good.“
