We came here for lunch on a Tuesday in mid-November while traveling in Maine. We checked the map for restaurants and saw this was open and had good reviews. We sat in the bar area. We ordered a salad and a wrap. The food was ok. The bartender was polite. Prices were reasonable. There was plenty of parking.

I've lived in the area for around 13 years and I've never been to Glenn's Place---I finally stopped in today with friends. The food was excellent; our server was so cool-awesome-funny. I had a cup of chili and it was fantastic! Served with warm corn chips. Dunking those into the chunky chili was so nice on this rainy day. The chili was excellent. It had the perfect amount of heat: enough to notice but not enough to burn your mouth and it was served piping hot. I also had the "Haddock Nuggets" which were excellent, even the tartar sauce was great! My friend had the Reuben which he enjoyed and the housemade onion rings looked great(next time). Menu selections were wonderful. I couldn't make up my mind. I can't wait to go back. A classic Maine diner with great food reminds me of Moody's but so much better. Glenn's is a win-win for Bucksport.
