Great little place! I had the salad - really fresh - and the mussels and they were perfectly cooked! The lime mousse was more of a cheesecake mousse but it was really tasty!

Visiting from Phoenix, it was a nice treat. Reasonably priced small dishes and a glass of wine. We sat outside in the cute courtyard in August with beautiful weather, light jacket required. Go and enjoy the atmosphere in this cute town.

Love this tapas restaurant. The outdoor seating is so nice and the food is excellent. We have enjoyed all the music we have seen. We'll be back!

Ordered appetizers quickly, 1 came out in 10-15 minutes, other two took another 30 minutes, ordering dinner, two main dishes they were out of at 6:20pm on a Saturday. Waitress was totally overwhelmed with # of tables she was attempting to serve. Dinner also took a little long but was very good to excellent, small portions, decent pricing. They need at least two more staff to serve properly, & a restaurant should never be out of main dishes that early in the evening, especially with limited menu. Appeared no one was managing the restaurant.

How does this have such few reviews?? This is a piece of Tuscany hidden is Maine. Amazing! Sit on the patio. Order the meatballs and a glass of sin vin. Heaven!

This establishment presents a unique experience. While the initial impression may suggest a need for renovations and enhanced organization, the quality of the food, beverages, and the staff's hospitality significantly compensates for this. The tranquil patio and the rustic ambiance contribute positively to the overall appeal.

It's small but the taste is big. Everybody was very nice and the food was great. No matter what your taste is they can fulfill it. Wasn't too expensive and would love to go again.

I lived in Bucksport for a few years and when the opportunity came to visit again, Verona was definitely on the list. It's been a while and I found out the ownership changed a year and a half ago. That said, I will say the ambiance and service are still 5 stars. The menu has changed though and is not tapas fare it used to be. As I came with my heart set on tapas, I ended up not ordering any food. But everything looked fabulous and the people around me all seemed to love their food. The one negative for me, I used to love sitting at the bar and chatting with the previous owner as well as other solo dinners. When I asked to sit at the bar this time, I was told there's no room. It appears they now prefer not to use that space for dining.

Fantastic! Nice selection of wines (and beers), and creative menu. Friendly staff. It’s pretty full, even at 6 on a Thursday. Lovely outdoor seating are too.
