As someone who knows how to cook Mexican food and grew up in South Texas near the border , I've got to say that this is the MOST authentic food I've had while living in Maine. I came into town from Hampden and stumbled upon this gem! Was excited to see puffy tacos on the menu. Amazing! When I took a bite of the Mexican rice it brought me back home and nearly in tears. If there is any Mexican restaurant in the whole world I would recommend it would be mama Lola's, my God it's is literally the best authentic Mexican food I have ever tasted. If ur wanting perfection,amazing food,and out of this world service, mama Lola's is the place to be I guarantee it.Kid-friendliness: Amazing place
