I was with a party of 5, that included a wheelchair. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the food. I had the fish and chips, the portions were generous. My fish was crispy and delicious.

Great cheese curds! Chicken salad sandwich made a good lunch. The fries with the sandwich were a little underdone. My girlfriend got the crabcakes and was disappointed.

Waitress was great! Attentive but not hovering (in a good way)!

Verdict: We would absolutely return to St Croix’s, just not for the seafood.

I am from Florida and every time I come into town I come here to eat. Their food is cooked fresh. The best food in town hands down.

The staff here was so accommodating for my family's reception after a funeral. The bartenders, servers and managers were on top of everything even with the chaos. We appreciate you bar and tap!

Delicious and large portions! Nice pub with fireplace and well maintained atmosphere. Great food and great service. Lots of beer choices and really good food. We had fish and chips and fish was fresh and good portions too. Highly recommend!

Left hungry and disappointed. My husband and I are light eaters. When I saw the Seafood Mornay which is twice as much as most items on the menu, I thought we could share. We asked the waitress if the meal was large enough to share, she said yes and asked another person. That said definitely since we also get a salad, vegetable of the day and our choice of potatoes. We chose our meal with mashed potatoes. Our friends who heard our questions decided to do the same but with fries. We waited a long time and this tiny plate of baked seafood consisting of maybe 2 oz of haddock, two tiny shrimp, and three small pieces of what I thought was crab, but must have been lobster, and a small amount of mashed potato. No scallops in my dish. We asked about the salad and vegetables. The waitress said since we asked for a potato, we would have to add the salad. It took us no time to eat our meal and we left to come home and make dinner.

Great experience here the other night. Food was good and the beer was cold! Live entertainment was fun and the crowd was lively. Put it on your list when visiting Calais!

Very expensive food for something I could have made better myself at home. I've been twice and the food was below average each time. The pork sandwich was dry with little sauce. The chicken alfredo had maybe two pieces of chicken and tasted horrible. The mixed drinks were not made correctly and tasted horrible and also like they had very little alcohol. Was their mac and cheese made with Velveeta or something similar? Probably. Would not return.
