Service and food was better than several other places in Calais that we have recently been lately. We are pretty picky when we go out to eat ,and I was not disappointed. We will be back soon.

Food and service are always good here. Check the specials. The cook is always coming up with something good.

I had the cheese steak sandwich which was not good it was over cooked and dried out , the meat was very gristle and hard to chew , couldn't eat it !wife had the pastrami sandwich which was VERY soggy ! bread was almost liquid ! , sister in-law had a wrap that was full of the tough inner parts of the lettuce ! She didn't eat hers either !!! Very Disappointed ! now we know why we were the only ones there .Never Again !!!!!!!!!

Food was fine, but we were forced to take it to go instead of eating it in the restaurant. We were told by the wait staff that "something is wrong and we have to close down". What? No one told us! Then a few minutes later the chef came out and told us to leave because they needed to evacuate. We moved outside to their front porch that was open thinking we could wolf down our food before going across the street to the movie theater, but they rudely told us to leave there, too. Why? If it was a gas leak, why not evacuate the whole block? They wouldn't let us sit in a bench next to the road either. Very odd. Very rude.

Nice atmosphere! Our server was on point. Pizza was very good. Fish and chips and Nachos were good. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely would stop in again.

We had fish and chips but substituted the fries for onion rings. Both were perfect! Deep fried perfectly, no oily residue and the fish was tender and flaked nicely. We plan to return!

The food is tasty, but I'm not into the "loud" bar scene. The nachos are enough for two or three people. The pizza is decent.

I don't want to be too harsh, because I was there on a weeknight in the middle of January. Way outside of the prime season for Calais, ME. And the food was good. I ordered the fish and chips. It was fresh, piping hot, perfectly cooked and the tartar sauce was great. Service was friendly and prompt, although there was no reason for it not to be because there were only ~ 6 customers in the entire restaurant. Me and one other guy sitting at the bar and a table of 4 with 2 little kids. They were supposed to stay open until 9:00, but the bartender was planning to close up as soon as we all finished eating. The decor is uninspiring, unless you really, really like old license plates. Other than that, there's nothing really memorable about the place. I imagine it's a good, cheaper option in the summer when the nicer places on the other side of Route 1 are busy.
