Best Happy Hour in Camden, hands down. I don’t know all the bartenders in Camden, but Ben is the best one I know.

SERIOUSLY! For the area - PLEASE go anywhere else. Lackluster service to start followed by mediocre drinks and unauthentic and overcooked eats.

August 2024. Save your money and your time. The charcuterie board was all made from pre-packaged goods. Waitstaff didn’t know the menu or how to distinguish a Pinot noir from Pinot Grigio. Uninteresting atmosphere.

Well, 1st, we informed the waitresswe would be gluten free, due to celiac allergy.
Next, I wish we'd taken photos of our meal to showcase some nice touches and some so so touches.
Drinks were fun and creative.
The caprese salad small a size.
Fried green tomatoes, nice.
The ceaser salad with grilled salmon spot on.
The braised pork and polenta, nice flavors.
The gluten free wild mushroom Alfredo was more the serving size for an appetizer.
Flour less chocolate cake, scrumptious.
Kinda a mixed bag for some items.
3 stars

This restaurant has super human abilities to cater to actual food allergies and restrictions. No one does this better or takes it more seriously. I can trust them with my health and well-being. Most restaurants - that's a hard no. Awesome event setup and staff. And they are actually open year round & five days a week. This is why they've been around for SO LONG. Thank you!

These folks are ON POINT. The non-alcoholic "mocktails" are clever and sophisticated. Event planning is easy. Small, ever changing menus are a good thing. No one needs three pages of menu. Keep it simple, and do it as well as these folks have been, longer than anyone else in Camden. If you have severe dietary restrictions or allergies, 40 takes this seriously. They are well known for dietary and allergy accommodations- even making their own gluten-free pasta from scratch. Bravo!!

Vegetarian options: 40 specializes in dietary restrictions and vegan, and actual gluten free. Even home made gluten free pasta.

The best at what they do! Not too many places make ALL their own homemade pasta, bread, and flatbread dough anymore. 40 Paper has done this for well over a decade now and is a fixture of the local community. The deep fried fingerling potato appetizer is as addictive as the Bolognese over homemade pasta. I see a couple one-star reviews shockingly - Can't please every single touron that breezes through town! This place is dependable, year round, fun and has a wonderful staff. Keep up the good work! Highly recommend!

My husband and I tried this spot on a whim and we were very disappointed. The drinks were not the best and the salmon was extremely overcooked and the prosciutto flatbread was basically a burned tortilla with too much cheese on it. While the wait staff was alright they kept grabbing plates as soon as we finished without any time to let anything settle for a moment. While we had high hopes we will not be coming back.

They have a small menu but we're out of the charcuterie - it's an Italian restaurant with no meat and cheese!! Our entrees were lukewarm and the second bottle of wine we ordered never came.

Ate there tonight. I would never go back, and do NOT recommend. Poor quality food, bad service. Nothing went right. The waiter brought us a bottle of wine, when we ordered water… we asked for a Margarita pizza and a mushroom pizza showed up. The Caesar salad with well cooked salmon was a mixed green salad wiry a mayonnaise dressing and undercooked salmon, Simply Pass on this one.

I don't know where to begin with telling you how amazing this place is. Craft cocktails are over the top unique and absolutely incredible. Talk to Ben who is willing to share his creative genius at mixology!

Fantastic food. Great people. Their happy hour is excellent and a good deal. But stay for their entrées. Ask about their house-made amaro.

Not a fan. The vibe was a bit run down and dark. Not a happening restaurant. The menu is limited and we got flat bread. Nothing to write home about. We don’t drink and a lot seem to write about the bar so maybe just not for us.
