About Long Grain

Long Grain offers delicious and unique food, with homemade noodles that burst with flavor in every bite. The pad seaw comes highly recommended. The crispy fried wonton appetizer is good, and the pad Thai is flavorful. The Massaman curry sauce adds a nice touch to the dishes. The mussels are quite good, and the atmosphere is sweet and clean. The restaurant features friendly servers and gluten-free options, making it a top choice in Maine for a memorable meal. The food is consistently delicious, with interesting specials throughout the year and a nice level of spiciness. The rice used in the multigrain fried rice dish is second to none. During busy times, the noise level can be quite high, so older guests or those hard of hearing may need to raise their voices. Reservations are recommended during peak season. The menu includes a variety of options like PAD PAK and PAD KEMAO, both praised for their great spice and flavors, complemented by drinks like black Lychee Tea. The staff is incredibly kind, and many guests find this place possibly the best Thai food they have ever eaten, thanks to fresh ingredients, homemade noodles, and great spice.

Great food! The noodles had so much flavor and were the perfect texture. Everything had a subtle smoky taste which really elevated each dish.

I wish I could give the food 20 stars! In my 50+ years of eating Thai food, this place is hands down the best!

Absolutely wonderful experience. I felt kind of funny, going to Maine and going for Thai food. But let me tell you, this is, hands down, the best Thai I've ever had. The food was absolutely perfect, every bite! Not your normal Thai food house, this is crafted dishes by a chef who cares for the art of Thai. Our server, I never caught her name, was wonderful. Never seemed stressed or hurried, in all the good ways. Seemed genuinely into what she was providing and excited to talk...read full review
