Happy hour at Hartstone Inn was amazing with Tiffany. I enjoyed the Gin Kiss and Elderflower Cosmo.
Just spent 5 nights here & it was a great stay. Perfect location! Our room was Paris. It was beautiful with lots of pillows and the bed was so comfortable! Would definitely recommend & stay here again!
High recommend + set menu - a good find in Camden! Aside from certain restaurants, I tend to be somewhat reluctant about set menus, but it’s done well here. Quite reasonably priced ($65) for the three courses, and the choices and cooking are excellent! Young servers who are proud of their offerings and want you to enjoy the experience. A good find in mid coast Maine.

Based on the provided reviews, Hartstone Inn & Public Restaurant is a lovely and cozy bed and breakfast in a great location, right in downtown Camden. The rooms are well-appointed, clean, inviting, spotless, and spacious with lots of personality. The bed is comfy and comfortable. Check-in is self-service with an envelope at the desk, and there were even fresh-baked cookies in the lobby. The lounge is open with games set out to play. For dining, the prix fix menu and 4 course dinner are delicious from start to finish, with the tasting and most beautiful food. The chef, Chef Tom, is amazing and prepares wonderful meals. The host Steve provided spot-on wine pairings. However, some features in a room did not work, including the fireplace and the heat-pump remote. The breakfast was forgettable and the coffee weak. One reviewer noted a toilet issue that required plunging. The staff are friendly and helpful in person. Overall, it is a great place to stay and dine, with ample parking available behind the building. Guests can walk into town and enjoy sitting outside by the fireplace.
