A super special night! Felt like an old-school evening out dining experience: four courses over a few hours, with lots of time to enjoy the good food and good company. One of our party has a dairy allergy and they could eat almost everything, which is so rare! All the flavors were rich and delicious. Pleased our gastronomical aficionados in the group as well as our more conservative eaters. Would absolutely go again! Chef Jordon is a star!
What a surprising find! Every course, every dish was delicious. Jordan is an excellent host and chef! Highly recommend the stewed lamb and the chicken with peanut sauce (azi dessi). The west African flavors were somehow both deep and delicate. Highly recommend

Absolutely delicious. Incredible flavors in every dish and drink. My favorites included the Navarin Lamb Stew (so earthy, full bodied, perfectly cooked lamb and veggies) and the Gbe ve ve. Would give 10 stars if I could.

A unique dining experience not to be missed! I hadn't had food from Togo before so the novelty was fun. The uniqueness of the flavors is amazing.
The fact that Jordan does everything himself adds to the magic of the experience.

This place is awesome. The food is great with a varied menu of West African and European offerings. Jordan, the owner, takes care of everything on his own from serving to bussing to cooking the food. We didn’t mind waiting a bit longer to be served knowing how hard Jordan was working. I loved the Moroccan Tagine Chicken and Jollof Rice. I hope to be back here very soon!

We had an exceptional dinner at Me Lon Togo. It’s like having your own, personal chef who is able to prepare delicious and unusual specialties—all super tasty and appealing, from the appetizers and drinks through dessert. This is a gem!

Awesome menu. Authentic African cuisine. All of our dishes were flavorful & spicy, but not overly so. And the cocktails were unique too. A welcome break from lobster rolls.
Wonderful delicious food! Chef was the nicest person you ever would meet! We had a good experience!

This was amazing, The chef is so friendly and you can taste the passion he has for cooking in his food. Every dish was amazing and I had a 10:10 experience. The serve ice was nice and relaxed and allowed time for every dish to be enjoyed and for conversation to happen. The food itself was amazing, I’ve never had food with such flavor as this. Please come and eat here this is a lovely place

I am unable to recall a more memorable dining experience than the one we enjoyed at Me Lon Togo this evening. Chef and owner Jordan has phenomenal skills. The menu offered a four course price fixe meal with many options for the main course. We chose both appetizers, and they were delicious and distinctly different. The salad dressing was rich with hard cooked egg yolks perfectly emulsified to give a creamy and silky flavor. We chose the tagine and the lamb stew entrees and both were flavorful and tender. Tapioca made with lemongrass broth was a perfect dessert. Jordan was a one-man-restaurant this evening so service was leisurely, allowing us time to savor the food. I highly recommend Me Lon Togo.

Me and my friend both enjoyed our 4 courses! All the courses were great, and my entrée had some of the best cooked beef I have ever had in my life. So good! Thank you Mé Lon Togo.

If you’re looking to enjoy great food, appreciate not being rushed through the meal and like meeting the chef responsible, you can’t go wrong at Me Lon Tongi. It is an eclectic and casual atmosphere where diners get to linger over dinner. My niece and I went for her birthday and enjoyed each of the available appetizers, the salad, two of the traditional chicken dishes and tapioca in lemon grass broth (delish). We enjoyed the opportunity to taste West African cuisine, meet Jordan the Chef/Owner and try something different. We will be back next time we are in Rockland.
