Absolutely marvelous lunch at this hidden gem. We figured it would be good because all the reviews were so good and it lived up to its reputation! We always thought that Dimillo’s in Portland had the best Haddock Chowder around, but they have met their match! Potatoes cooked just right and lots of fish. Well worth the wait! My girlfriend loved the gluten free pancakes, and I loved the service and my breakfast as well! It was her birthday weekend getaway, it was so wonderful to eat there!!!

Today I had the best haddock chowder! It had large pieces of haddock, with a lovely buttery broth. Most haddock chowders at restuarants/cafes have mushy, small pieces of fish and are loaded with potatoes for fuller. Not so at Home Kitchen Bakery, which is the place to go for best haddock chowder! And it comes with a large, tasty biscuit!
