Nothing says summer like an ice cream from Ducks! Sure the line is long, but in some ways that’s part of the fun. The kids who run the shop are always sweet and take their time to make your sundae perfect (hence the long line). Love that they don’t skimp on the hot fudge! Waffle cones are tasty as is the soft serve. Can’t go wrong with whatever you get, especially if you can score a seat on the bridge above the river - double points if it’s in the evening with the bistro...
The ice cream here is SO GOOD we visited twice in one day. The chocolate raspberry truffle in particular is outstanding. I couldn’t decide between that and the soft serve, so the second trip was for the soft serve which did not disappoint!
Had a mixed cone of the Maine blueberry cheesecake and brown butter bourbon truffle. No old man hacking up a lung could ruin the vibes of the footbridge while eating the ice cream either. Rachel also loved the peanut crunch topping.
