This is a very average seafood restaurant in the water. A bit dated. Good for an older crowd.
Food was ok, atmosphere is great. Waitstaff sometimes dress quite inappropriately. Got the fish and chips to share with my child who wasn’t sure if he liked it. I thought for $25 I’d get two pieces of fish. Nope- it is the exact same amount of fish as the haddock burger for $18. Save your money and get the haddock burger and don’t eat the bun.
Stopped in to have some dinner while visiting the area and so happy we did. From the friendly staff, the amazing food and the view of the harbor well worth the stop. And let me tell you by far the best key-lime pie I’ve ever had in my life, if there’s anything worth getting it’s that.
This is a lovely place with very good service. We were allowed to take our time without feeling rushed. We had an attentive waitress without out feeling pushed. The food was delish and the desert was Devine. I have fallen in love with Creamy peachy lime pie! Yum! Easiest 5 star review I have ever given!!!
We decided decided to head out and explore more of Maine to celebrate our anniversary. This trip took us to Camden. For starters, we finally tried some real New England clam chowder... This was their 45-year old recipe that did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious! With it we grabbed some of their house crafted bread rolls and whipped butter. Now for the dishes, it was hard choosing one but ultimately my husband went with the swordfish and I ordered the crab cakes! The spice crusted swordfish was served with chopped mangos over a bed of rice and beans. For another side he ordered the 3 bean salad. My crab cakes were pan seared with old bay seasoning. For my sides I had buttered green beans and mashed red potatoes. It was a refreshing meal! We loved looking out at the boats and the scenery from our table. We kept it light so we passed on the desserts. It was a seafood filled meal that we truly enjoyed for our anniversary dinner.
Very cool rustic atmosphere! Food and drinks were so good!
Made a reservation here for Mothers Day and it was an amazing choice! The deck outside unfortunately wasn't set up yet but it was nice and comfortable inside. The roast chicken was divine and also the burgers very yummy! A little on the pricier side once you get a few drinks but I expected it for the area. Food was delicious and we will come back!
This is your perfect lunch or dinner spot between Portland & Bar Harbor. The whole town is incredible, and this is a hidden gem right on the water! We went for the crab roll and crab melt and it was 100% worth it. Fantastic service, amazing atmosphere, great food.
One of our family's favorite places for special occasions. Less busy in the winter and early spring. A very cozy place to see locals during that time and eat yummy food with a Maine cabin-like atmosphere.
We ate here on 04/28/2025, spent $120.00(see photo)The following day we returned for desert since it was close to our hotel room. We were greeted at which time I said we just wanted some desert, restaurant was at 50 % capacity. Hostess said we would need to eat in the bar area for desert.
So we took a seat at a two person table in the bar by the window. Sat for approx 4 min when we were approached by the same slim grey/blonde lady that told us to sit in the bar. She now said we had to move to the actual bar to eat desert.
So we had a choice to sit next to a drunk lady that was, probably over served(Camden p.d needs to do some work)Or leave. As I left I counted five open small tables in the bar. She told us they were reserved for people eating dinner in the bar. She was rude, unfriendly and obviously hates her job.
We were in the area adding to the local economy looking for real estate, this was a turn-off for sure. Save your money and go where they want your business and know how to smile.

I wish they served white bread. I always forget and order the bread. Otherwise everything else was great!
Fabulous service and the food was delicious!
The Waterfront restaurant is a main stay in Camden and the midcoast. I remember as a young 20 something looking forward to saving enough to treat myself to a meal there, and the feelings of anticipation haven't changed.
Great service. Consistant quality of food with comfort fare and prepared by masterful chefs. Strong leanings towards seafood, but don't let the stop you! Their salads are quite good, and folks love the sandwich selection too...
When your in the area take a break, and
The best mussels ever!!
Their Beef Dip sandwich is excellent!
